SandeshOne Be the change
Ggrowing TechCrunch: "Unless you’ve been sitting under a rock, you’ll be aware that India is The Big New Opportunity for technology firms." "Just 90 million people — less than 10 percent of the country’s billion-plus population — enjoyed internet access in 2010, but that figure is tipped to rocket to 500 million by 2020, spurred by the sale of smartphones. India shipped 64.3 million smartphones in Q4 2014
Growing Aspirations
The count of people being without a job is on the rise in India as economic slowdown and slower business expansion activities cast a shadow on employment generation, say experts. Indicating sluggishness in the country's job market, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) has said in its recent report that the unemployment scenario in India over the last two years has been showing a rising trend. Going by ILO's latest estimates, India's jobless rate could be 3.8% this year.
Demographic Dividend or Catastrophic Trigger ? Hundreds of educated unemployed youths specially women sitting in every nook and corner of the nation has access to the information of evolution that occurs at any part of the world……………… and yet many of them…..maybe most of them sit disconnected from this reflux ..with growing wrath and disappointment of unfulfilled dreams……of unachieved aspirations…( in spite of the available resources…in many cases!!!!!)
Towards the Boiling Point ……………..
These are the TRIGGER POINTS which if left to accumulate may usher destructive impact to the society…
What are these trigger points? More than 93% per cent of workforce, 56% of India’s GDP and about 60 per cent of the national product are accounted for by the informal economy. Only 7 % from the formal sector. But is the informal sector equipped enough to sustain the demand of the growing nation ?
Trigger Points‌‌. The demand for tertiary education in India has increased in geometric progression. The number of Universities has increased 34 times and the number of colleges has increased 74 times since 1950. 50,00,000 graduates pass out every year. But more than 47% of these pass outs remain unemployed. What is their future? How does this young skilledhuman assets add value to the nation ?
Trigger Points‌.. Today India is the largest microfinance initiative with over 7.4 million SHGs representing 97 million rural households leading to thousands of micro and small enterprises. 84% of these SHG population is women and they handle nearly INR1,00,00 billion (deposits + credit) – much more than most of the MNCs in India!.But there is hardly any supporting ecosystem for enterprises to scale and grow to the next level. Will these valuable economic agents of the nation eventually become non performing assets due to stagnation and retardation ?
Trigger Points ! The Business of business is only Business………. But with growing climatic, health, financial and resource pressure – cost benefit ratio of business has exceed 1 ! How does the denominator outpace numerator again ?
Towards a new horizon…. But these enormous energy fuming and frothing in frustration if harnessed may herald a huge positive change………
Lets learn from Past ! During the depths of the recession following the 2008 financial crisis, frustrated Americans took the bold step of opening their own small businesses pushing entrepreneurship activity to the highest level in 14 years. Serious financial crisis of South Korea in 1997 led to the beginning of the “Second Miracle on the Han River through a new policy called the Creative Economy (supportive ecosystem of entrepreneurs and SMEs) The period of 1998- 2000 witnessed the rapid spread of the new venture boom Do we need to wait to reach that crisis to act ?
Every question has an answer Once the problem statements were formulated, the solution seemed obvious All the ingredients of the reactions are ready..what is needed is a catalyst and a conducive environment to initiate the reaction‌.
Harnessing the latent but mammoth energy‌‌‌ The educated and aspiring but unemployed youths, especially women can be identified, selected and offered intensive training to become socially relevant economic catalysts to incapacitate the unorganized sectors to refine, grow and progress in a conducive ecosystem and to integrate technology and entrepreneurship into the fabric of rural India while becoming successful entrepreneurs themselves. We named this solution SandeshOne (the name may change)

How does she become a change agent? On the commencement of the training, she goes back to her community, starts a resource center through which she will facilitate her community with products, projects and technology to enhance their income and their standard of living
Will she alone be able to bring the change? She will need a conducive ecosystem. We will create a support system at every district .Each district center will support each candidate with credit links, backward and forward links, technological support and access to relevant products and projects
What is her revenue model? She will get service charges and profit shares for every successful product, project or skill training she endows to the community
