Welcome Message from Durban High School On behalf of Durban High School, I would like to welcome all of our visiting players, staff, coaches and parents, as well as all the DHS friends and family to our second annual Rugby Day on 22 March 2017. Durban High School reached a milestone of 150 years last year and with this came the first of our annual Rugby Day celebrations. We have decided to name the day after former head master, Mr Trevor Bennison who played an integral part in the development of rugby at DHS. Through our 151 years of existence, here at Durban High School we aim to create relationships with our fellow schools through our hosted events and am delighted to have you experience the spirit of Durban High School. Whilst at our school, we welcome you to visit our memorial quad where you may find an interest in our history and come to acknowledge our Old Boys whom have made a difference in the world – from our fallen heroes, to poets and sporting greats. We trust that you will enjoy your time at our school, whilst enjoying some exciting schoolboy rugby, showcasing the local talent we have in our province.
