Meet Clarendon High School for Girls head girl:
The world will only change when everyone realises her or his own potential to lead and influence: a good leader is a catalyst of such realization. What are your strengths and weaknesses? Strengths – strong faith, empathy, determination, focus, confidence, enthusiasm. Weaknesses: impatience, indecision, disorganization, over-thinking. What are you looking forward to the most during your tenure as leader? Working with my friends and fellow councillors to see some of our ideas materialise and make our school a better place.
What will you message of encouragement be for your prefects/ co-leaders? Lead joyfully, humbly and purposefully- make your goal to impact hearts before impacting the world. Who is your role model? Jesus and My beautiful mother – Mucharambeyi Nhawu.
Is there anything you would like to change at your school? I’d like to see my school become an ever-happier place, wherein learning flows into free creativity, leadership, entrepreneurial thinking and the general spreading of love and light.
What are your plans for after matric (2021)? To possibly have a plan by then.
What do you love the most about your school? It is a place that aids in producing determined, confident and powerful women who understand their worth in the world.
If you could be any superhero, who do you want to be and why? T’chala – his kind of protection of vibranium and Wakanda is the same zeal with which we should protect and develop every good resource available in Africa.
Matric is your final year, from an academic point of view, what are you aiming for? To obtain 7 distinctions in my final exams.
On a regular Saturday, you will find me at…with… On a regular Saturday you will find me at home with Claudia, Tiri and Cladious Who is your Hollywood celeb crush? Jace Norman as Henry Danger.
