i could write a dictionary of the things i didn’t, but should’ve, said. words and their definitions of instances that will never be again. noun, adjective, verb, pronoun, it continues like this: in mazes of and ; and ! and . and , and ? and an alchemist’s mix of one, two, all of the above in this century, some people still burn books because they are an offense. to what? the alchemist turns dust into gold, but only in his sleep, science says. we destroy and create, often for the same reasons. tonight, i am lit in flame. it is the heat of what i should’ve, but didn’t, say.
