Coco Mode Stéphane Moula French Ambassador for Tiffany’s Fashion Weeks and Celebrity Personal Shopper Au Bon Marché in Paris, France 1.
DESIGNER Rouba.G graduated from Conde Nast College of Fashion and Design, England, both her degreeand vigorous devotion for fashion compelled her to dive headfirst into the industry, only to be rejected more than once-for being too audacious and offbeat. This was what initiated the brand; that dissent was the inauguration and the birth of Rouba.G, officially introduced to the world in 2015. Challenged to push the boundaries, possessing a singular style and key prowess necessary to flourish in the industry, having enough experience enabling the enhancement of individual profile, Rouba.G has a message to convey through every single collection. The designer does so by transforming everyday mundane concrete objects and ideas into magnificent garments. She merges top level technical expertise along with her aesthetic finesse and the result is ethereal. Fashion, is a cycle of trends that comes and goes. However, woman’s sense of individuality and oneness shall remain; that is the message Rouba.G wishes to project - and promises to! The designer emphasizes on fantastically detailed embroidery, fabric customization in the ReadyTo-Wear, Bridal and Haute Couture. The collections embrace womanhood, femininity and all her supremacy. Each and every piece portrays woman’s independence and grace, expressing her individuality, celebrating her inner Goddess and thus signifying the brand’s unique style. On the other hand, the lavish and sumptuous collection is also prolific in daring and dancing colors. Powerful women dare to wear colors!

« Tiffany’s Fashion Week Magazine » 1. Tell us how you got your acting career started and who is your most admired actor or actress? « Actress Anita Chui » Since I was young, I want to be people’s inspiration. I love film because it can bring positive impacts with right messages. So, I started to send profiles to agency in Hong Kong when I finished my studies in U.K. and I was lucky to be picked by Paco Wong, one of the top agent in Asia. He gave me a lot of acting opportunities and taught me the importance of being self well-prepared. I admired Meryl Streep and she aspired me a lot. I have watched nearly all of her films and interviews. While Streep has been successful, she hasn’t gotten there by cutting other women down. Her poise is something that others aspire to, and she’s not unwilling to share her story and assist her colleagues in making similar smart career choices. Moreover, she is a champion for body confidence, assuring women that confidence doesn’t come from being a size zero, but from being happy with who you are. « Tiffany’s Fashion Week Magazine » 2. What was your impression about the 72nd Cannes Film Festival compared to your first experience at the 71st Film Festival? Do you think that Fashion and Film marry well together? « Actress Anita Chui »

INTE RVIEW
« Tiffany’s Fashion Week Magazine » 3. Do you think the Film Industry is easier for men than for women? If so, could you share your thoughts? « Actress Anita Chui » In my opinions, there are more movies for men than women in the past. But since the world keeps changing, there are more female filmmakers and female-led films nowadays. For example, the Academy Award nominees Lady Birdand I, Tonya and the live-action reimagining of Beauty and the Beast and the game-changing blockbuster Wonder Woman, which left countless women crying their way through screenings across the world. I am happy to see that. However, the diversity in “below-the-line” film industry jobs were essentially nonexistent. Almost all cinematographers; camera operators; and composers were men. I hope there will be more females to participate in the future. « Tiffany’s Fashion Week Magazine » 4. What advice would you give to an inspiring young Actor? « Actress Anita Chui » Film industry is very competitive, only the best will be remembered. Each and every one of you is unique and special, show your strengths to the world. You
don’t have to be anything other than yourself. Don’t try to fit yourself into a role— but fit the role onto you. Make it work for all your colors and layers, embracing the good, the bad, and the ugly. It is in owning everything about yourself and being brave enough to expose it that will separate you from all the other actors out there. Once you can trust that you are enough and are able to bring your true self to each role, that’s when magic happens and careers are made. « Tiffany’s Fashion Week Magazine » 5. What are your future projects for 2020? « Actress Anita Chui » 2020 will be another busy year for me. My first produced French-Italian film “NAUSICA” will be released and hopefully it can get attention from the audience and nominated by film festival. Apart from “NAUSICA”, I will produce and play in a few big film projects, it includes China, Amercia and France. Besides producing and acting, I will keep learning. I am a lifelong learner. I strongly believe that learning is about reaching my full potential and can help me to achieve self-actualization. Lifelong learning preserves an individual’s desire to obtain new knowledge outside of the formal education system. Developing an attitude where you constantly learn is the only way to succeed in the dynamic environment which we live in today. Actors always need to be well-trained. I am taking French lessons right now, I wish I can speak fluently on next year. Also, I am having ballet, gymnastics, action, acting, producing and singing classes too. Though it’s a hectic schedule, by doing these can help me to advance the next level and to become a better person. « Tiffany’s Fashion Week Magazine » 6. Who is your favourite French Designer? « Actress Anita Chui » When I think of my favourite person, I think of someone who has made it on their own, someone who stands up for what they believe in, someone who made a significant change when one was needed. Gabrielle Chanel is one of my top favourite French designer. She revolutionized the 1920s fashion
by reinventing the female wardrobe with tweed, the “little black dress” and neutral tones. Coco Chanel completely redesigned the way women dressed during the 20th Century. She took her dreams and turned them into reality on her own, and liberated women from their common stereotypical uniform. She also showed the world her passion for fashion and wasn't afraid of failing. She showed women that they had the freedom of expression through their clothes and they didn't need to be limited to the way others thought they should look, that the only limit that exists is the one that lay within you. This is why Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel is my inspiration. « Tiffany’s Fashion Week Magazine » 7. Tell us 5 things that you do to stay fit, focused and motivated in the competitive Film Industry? « Actress Anita Chui » There are many ways I enhance my positivity and stay motivated in the film industry.Positive imagery is a powerful way to remain inspired to advance. I think about my goals everyday. Imagine my life once I have reached my professional goals, and use these images to motivate myself. Advancing the career is all about attaining goals—but those goals must be realistic; otherwise you’re just setting yourself up for failure. Bear in mind that every time you meet an objective, you’re advancing in the right direction. I always carefully review my plans, and determine whether I need to add smaller, interim goals that will help me feel confident on the way to my bigger objectives. Moreover, it’s essential to be prepared to deal with setback plans. Approach them as a learning opportunity by analyzing what I could have done better and how I can improve your performance in the future. Last but not least, I learn to encourage myself with positive self-talk. If you’re afraid of failure and you tell yourself a task is too difficult, chances are you won’t do well. If, on the other hand, you tell yourself a task is a challenge and an opportunity to test your skills and learn new ones, you’re creating a positive situation for yourself in which you’re not limited by your own apprehension.

The difference between the 71st and 72nd Cannes Film Festival is self experience. For the 71st Cannes Film Festival, I attended as a brand ambassador for a French designer on one of the screening day. Since it’s my first time to attend such an international event, I was really nervous not only because walking on the red carpet, also that’s my first time to work in France. Compare to the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, I attended as a producer and actress and I was invited by Chopard. Caroline Scheufele is a very nice and successful woman. I attended the closing ceremony this time, so I am able to watch the award and it’s amazing to feel the excitement. I am more familiar with the festival this time, so I enjoyed a lot and I totally love it. Absolutely, I think film and fashion go well together, they affect each other. When we make a film, we need costumes to match with it. Not to mention about the red carpet, people need fabulous outfits to stand out from the crowd.

Marisa Semedo was exposed to the art of tailoring and sewing, at a very young age. It became clear it was a passion when she married a Tailor at age of 22. Adalícia Virginia’s dad was a tailor; that had a huge influence on her choice of becoming a designer. Both mother and daughter started designing and making clothes for themselves and their friend as they studied and worked other areas. Marisa migrated from Cabo Verde to the Unites States of America 15 years ago
and her daughter Adalícia joined her two years ago. They instantly rekindle the idea of working together in the fashion business. The high demand to design and make clothes led to the creation of DAUMOS. After organizing its own fashion line and participating in fashion shows in Boston, including in Boston Fashion Week, DAUMOS decided to debut its collection at Tiffany’s Fashion Extravaganza during New York Fashion Week.

This Collection is Jevon's representation of New York City through his designs. The core colors of black and white represents the city's glamour. Canary yellow, the pop of color used, represents the popular NYC taxis. Fabrics in the collection represent various aspects of the city such as the sequence signifying the sparkle of lights from the skyscrapers across the city at night.
The movement of fringe represents movement throughout the city from cars, and taxis to people and the metros moving quickly across the lines. All of these directions represent the mutiple directions the fringe moves in as models walk. This collection is Jevon Terance's image of New York through his garments.

Mitchell "Mickey" Freeman also known as Mickey Boooom, is a fashion stylist and designer, born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His instinctual creative flair has had very early beginnings and there's no ending in sight. The juxtaposition of growing up in a rough environment, coupled with his attention commanding personal style, created some internal turmoil early on. Though well-liked, the frustration of feeling like he didn't belong gave birth to his need to make the world more beautiful, which is as strong as his need to breathe air. There are many facets to his sartorial expertise, however, he has primarily been a wardrobe stylist for men and women who are in search of an
innovative intervention, as he playfully calls it. Spearheading visual schematics for models, artists and other intriguing people enables him to convey his view of the way the world should be, could be, or would be, without burdening viewers and clients with the weight of reality. His work has been published in GQ, Vogue, Marie Claire, and Elle magazines, to name a few. Mickey Freeman also works with a number of celebrities in the entertainment industry. With my many years of combined experiences of being a wardrobe stylist, he was guided by his intuition to create his own exquisite style of fashion, which is the deviceful moniker he calls his "Utility Kilt line". His unisex line, FreeMen By Mickey, represents the evolution of the masculine silhouette. The name FreeMen is
actually a portmanteau that encompasses his profound belief that every human being should experience freedom, true freedom in their lifetime. FreeMen By Mickey is the exterior manifestation of what Mickey believes should ultimately come from within everyone, everywhere, everyday. His fashion line has been showcased in Bahamas Fashion Week, Dominican Republic, and New York Fashion Week. While most of his time is spent in New York City, he does make time for traveling. Being an avid traveler, Mickey Freeman has traveled around the world and has experienced many different cultures. "There is always an air of obscurity when I refer to anything that might inspire me" He says. This allows him to easily incorporate fresh new ideas into his work.
