News from the Tiffin University School of Business

TU Business Programs Reaffirmed by ACBSP The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) reaffirmed accreditation of the Tiffin University business programs. “It is a great honor to be reaffirmed by the ACBSP,” said Dr. Maneesh Sharma, Dean of the School of Business. “It is proof of the excellent quality of business education that TU provides to its students. Our continuous accreditation by ACBSP since 1996 is a great testament to the tireless dedication and excellent qualifications of our faculty and staff in the school. I am indeed proud to be a part of such a high achieving team.” Established in 1988, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the School of Business at Tiffin University meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP. The University is required to go through the reaffirmation process every 10 years to maintain ACBSP accreditation. “Tiffin University has shown their commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” said ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer Dr. Steve Parscale, who will present the Certificate of Reaffirmation of Accreditation at ACBSP Conference 2016 in Atlanta, Georgia on June 19. “Tiffin University provides a premiere education for our students. I am so proud of our School of Business in receiving such a distinguished recognition,” said Dr. Teresa Shafer, Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs.

It was the fourth time the Tiffin MBA was ranked first over the past nine years that the rankings have existed. Tiffin’s program beat out the last year’s top MBA from by the University of Vienna. The programs were ranked on seven criteria. The Tiffin MBA earned the highest ranking for the quality of its faculty. The program only uses US based Tiffin full time and adjunct faculty. Graduates of the program referred to their experience as “challenging”, “professional” and “helping with my development as a manager.” The publication Ziarul Financiar said “The Executive MBA program offered by Tiffin University has a solid anchor in reality, responding to the training needs of those from top and middle management segment on the Romanian market.” Dr. Teresa Shafer, Interim Vice-President for Academic Affairs said, ““I am so proud of our continuing opportunity to serve the educational needs of our Romanian students.
