French Fry Bite This “French fry bite” recipe is super easy, uses very little oil, and is baked in a muffin tin. It’s all about the portion. Snack Girl’s friend, Jerri, likes potatoes whatever way you serve them. Mashed, chips, baked, scalloped, or roasted he hasn’t met a potato he wouldn’t eat. I am also a fan of potatoes and believe the low-carb diets out there have given them a bad rap. Why? They aren’t the equiValent to wheat bread or cupcakes? A medium potato has 70% of your daily value of vitamin C, 12% of your daily value of magnesium, and 30% of your daily value of vitamin B-6. Yes, potatoes have carbohydrates but they also have nutrients! Now, French fries are deep-fried and deserve a bad reputation because of their fat content. It seems that when you put potatoes in oil, the potatoes soak it up and you get a ‘fat bomb’. This “French fry bite” recipe is super easy, uses very little oil, and is cooked in a muffin tin. They are both crunchy and soft, but you miss the fatty wallop.

Socialization & the Life Course
Social Interaction in Everyday Life
Alright so this month’s article goes hand in hand
with last month article about socialization throughout the course of life. This month is about social interaction everyday. Social interaction is the process by which people act and react in relation to others. Just like socialization, social interaction is a process that we humans perform without even putting much thought into it.
In every society, everyone has a status. A status is a social position that a person holds. And a status set is all the statuses a person holds at a given time. For example my status set consists of being a teenage girl who is a daughter, student, sister, friend, team member, etc.
Social Interaction in Everyday Life
What is your status set? Could it be that you’re a an adult who is an aunt or uncle? What about a kid who is a brother, a friend, and a student? Your status set can be endless. Social interaction is inevitable. Take the time to get to know someone. People need people, we need a sense of connection with others, especially females. Instead of pulling out your phone, while you’re waiting for your manicure, talk to that person sitting next to you. Unless that person doesn’t want to be bothered..but hey how will you know if you don’t take the first step?

Technology
4 of the Biggest Trends in 2014 technology 1. Ultra HD 4K Will Spread to Television and Phones Improved mobile devices will be released that include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processors by the end of 2014, which can handle 4K video and completely revolutionize the way video will be viewed. Proof that this is happening now is the fact the both the FIFA World Cup and the Winter Olympics are being filmed in 4K, along with more content being released via Netflix, Sony and others throughout 2014. 2. No-Touch Interfaces Many smart-phone users are already familiar with no-touch technology thanks to voice recognition software integrated into their wireless devices. Smartphone users use apps like Google Now on Android and Siri on iOS for hands-free access to endless amounts of information. With advances in sensors and cameras, no-touch interfaces and devices will only continue to be integrated into daily life.
3. 3-D Printing The growth rate of 3-D printers is projected to be 75 percent this year, with another large jump to 200 percent by 2015. Once thought to be impossible, the consumer market is now aware that 3-D printing is a real and viable means to reduce costs through improved designs, streamlined prototyping, and short-run manufacturing
4. Wearable Technology This technology, as we have covered before, is all the rage at the moment, but it is not a technology that will illuminate smart-phones anytime soon. This technology involves a number of items and is a fast-growing category that includes any small piece of technology that can be worn on one's body. Research firm ABI estimates that this industry will hit $6 billion by 2018. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/damon-m-banks/10-of-the-biggest-trends_b_4725708.html
MOTIVATIONAL
Joshua 6:20
When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days.
Answers to last month’s riddle: Because he was the one who poisoned the punch! A man went to a party and drank some of the punch. He then left early. Everyone else at the party who drank the punch subsequently died of poisoning. Why did the man not die?
The winning Answer: Again, there was an overwhelming response to the riddle, however, there were no correct answers for the riddle. Thanks to everyone who attempted to answer the riddle!
RIDDLE How can you make 7 even?
