Tigani Lux

Drawing inspiration from the famous natural beauty of Byron Bay, Australian designer Amelita has created this unique range of hand-made leather bags, fusing together traditional craftsmanship methods with modern elegance & timeless practicality. The name Tigani Lux is the Romanian name for ‘gypsy luxury’, translating in English to ‘travelling luxury’, inspired by Amelita’s Romanian heritage. Amelita believes in the return to artisinal methods of craftmanship, so she has travelled the globe, working closely with many talented ‘perajin’ or craftsman, who use environmentally friendly techniques. Her bags are not mass produced & are all hand-finished & made with love. Her unique feature ‘bangles’ are all individually hand-crafted. Amelita explains, “I endeavor to make beautiful bags, that are unique & functional, that feel soft to touch, that make the woman wearing them look & feel great!”
