Tiger Athletic Foundation Launches Campbell Society with inaugural event to honor members BATON ROUGE, LA- (November 29, 2017) –Last month, Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) introduced a new program recognizing donors who have made transformational gifts to LSU Athletics through TAF. The program bears the name of the first former LSU Athlete to contribute a considerable major gift to support LSU Athletics and LSU student-athletes through TAF, E.R. “Bo” Campbell. The inaugural dinner was on October 13 in the Legends Club at the LSU Basketball Practice Facility. During the event, TAF President and CEO Rick Perry and Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva presented The Campbell Society inductees with a gold blazer. The blazers were crafted by the local clothing company Haspel with the help of Haspel owner and TAF member, Richard Lipsey. The Campbell Society members were also recognized on the field of Tiger Stadium during the LSU vs. Auburn game on October 14. The inaugural members of The Campbell Society include E. R. "Bo" Campbell of Shreveport, Henry F. "Hank" Anderson of Shreveport, Mary and Woody Bilyeu of Winnfield, Doss and Sally Bourgeois of Houston, TX, Jacques and Paula de la Bretonne of Baton Rouge, Irene W. and C.B. Pennington Family Foundation of Baton Rouge, Claude B. Pennington III and Sharon Pennington of Baton Rouge, Cindy and David Coffey of Coushatta, Linda Dowling of Shreveport, Suzan and Michael Simpson of Coushatta, Cherie and Jim Flores of Houston, TX, Eric and Lisa Lane of Baton Rouge, Espe and Scotty Moran of Shreveport, and others.
