Iroquois Rollout celebrates 45 years of Iroquois engine manufacture and rollout on July 22, 1957. The Iroquois was the lightest, highest-thrust jet engine of the day. Many innovations were developed by Charles Grinyer and his staff, not least of which was the extensive use of titanium, revolutionary two-bearing construction, the first variable-pitch stator blades and many more. Although its manufacture and rollout was more low key than the Arrow, the stunning high resolution photos make the whole business come alive. This memorial album will thrill all Arrow fans since so little of the Iroquois has been recorded to date.
