These regulations require pre-filing of customs documents in advance of border crossing at a U.S. port-of-entry. Artist: Janet Griffin-Scott Janet Griffin-Scott was born in Toronto and graduated from York University with a BFA in 1983. DONNER BUBE’s offspring have often been the high sellers at auction and his dam line is as strong as his sire line, with PIK BUBE I being a top sire of jumpers and dressage mounts. Notes: WHISPER is the exciting product of proven world class bloodlines, and with her excellent gaits and willing disposition, she will excel as a performance horse and/or a broodmare. She is a tall, elegant bay filly with a bright future as a performance star and is powerfully bred. WHISPER has a beautiful, refined head and a gorgeous neck which flows smoothly into a lovely topline, giving her that “presence” so important in the show ring today. She has a wonderful and engaging temperament, is curious and friendly, and has been handled daily since birth. WHISPER is an opportunity for the discerning rider or breeder searching for their next big deal! ~ 38 ~

Sire: Few stallions have the strength of pedigree that DONNER BUBE possesses. Not only is he by a leading sire, several of DONNERHALL’s top offspring are also from daughters of PIK BUBE I. DONNER BUBE won his stallion test in Switzerland, scored the highest in rideability of 164 horses, and has been approved by the Oldenberg Verband, Canadian Warmblood and Canadian Sport Horse registries. He competed in dressage (PSG) and jumping (4’) and is closely related to several current competitors on the international stage. Many of the DONNER BUBE offspring have won championships and all seem to inherit his excellent paces, intelligence and rideability. Dam: FALCON II is by FALKLAND (Hanoverian) and out of LUCKY FACTOR, whose ancestors have contributed to international competitors in jumping and eventing as well as champion hunters. FALKLAND, despite being of strong jumping lines, sired FABERGE, the international dressage horse ridden by Beatriz Ferrer-Salat of Spain. Notes: This 2008 mare has very strong dressage bloodlines and represents the DONNERHALL/FALKLAND cross that produced the junior dressage horse, DREAMCATCHER, who was later shown as DON FALCO. As DON FALCO, he won and placed in material classes scoring up to 8.3, scored up to 7.8 in 1st level young tests, and had several successes in 2nd level young horse tests in Europe. DONNER’S FIRST LADY has the conformation to be a joy to ride and delightfully light on the forehand. Recent comments from her mare inspection include: good swing and elasticity, good front legs and saddle position. She is confirmed in foal to WOLKENSTEIN II.

Sire: ROYAL SENNA is as versatile in dressage as he is in jumping. He possesses excellent movement and an honest attitude for work, and is cool, calm, and collected. Breeders all over North America love him because he produces high quality, beautiful foals, passing on the traits breeders look for - colour, conformation, gaits and temperament. Sired by the great RUBINSTEIN I (Stallion of the Century), out of ARGENTINA/AIRPORT/ARGENTAN, he has inherited the grace, elegance, and power of both bloodlines. Already a proven producer of top quality horses, he currently has several of his offspring approved for breeding, both mares and stallions. Dam: FLEET TUSH was one of Buffalo Head Farms foundation Thoroughbred mares and the dam of AIRIELLE, who produced several outstanding individuals E-BAY, RASCELLE, WOLKENAIR and RAPUNZELLE. Tush produced LATTE III who in turn produced ESPRESSO and WII GRAND-PRIX and the breeder’s own personal riding horse, LEXINGTON. This mare had an outstanding temperament and was the cornerstone of Buffalo Head’s breeding operation. Notes: LILLIAN is a big, correct, huge moving mare. She has lovely movement that leans toward the way she is bred, to be a dressage producer. She is currently in foal to EDWARD, the Celle State Hanoverian stallion who stands in Germany and is only available through frozen semen. He is by EMBASSY out of the states premium mare FABIENNE, a FABRIANO daughter. EDWARD was the highest scoring stallion at his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf with a total score of 140.08, a dressage index of 142.93 and a jumping index of 120.72. LILLIAN’s DON FREDERICO daughter is being retained by the breeder as a broodmare. ~ 40 ~

Sire: REGARDEZ was imported from Germany where he was the reserve champion young riding horse in 1995 and the top 5-year old dressage horse in 1996. His sire has both jumpers and dressage horses to his credit and his broodmare sire has jumpers and Olympic dressage horses to his credit. GRANDSTAND’s sire, WODKA, was imported by Spruce Meadows as part of their foundation breeding program. WODKA competed under Albert Kley in World Cup Show Jumping. She had a big, gorgeous, 2010 filly by Grand Prix dressage stallion RHEIRATTACK, and caught easily for a 2011 foal by champion Verband stallion FIDERTANZ. Rubi is 100% sound, and would be suited for resuming her riding career once she foals. She is up to date on everything and is an easy broodmare. RHIA, her 2010 foal by RHEIRATTACK is expected to be over 17hh, and demonstrates her mother’s movement and an incredible temperament and willingness to learn. Sire: LOUGHEED carries the movement, character, and quality of his impeccable pedigree. This diverse stallion performed brilliantly in his 300day test, scoring in both jumping and dressage to finish 6th overall. His results were in-keeping with the ‘first rank’ results of his sire LE PRIMEUR and grandsire LAPTOP in their respective 300-day stallion tests. Dam: GRANDORA has been a broodmare for many years. She achieved an overall score of 7 in her Hanoverian mare Inspection in 1994 and has had several offspring who have gone on to success. The mare WILLOW (one of her daughters) earned a first premium classification in the 1999 CWHBA inspection tour with the second highest score (8) out of 159 inspected mares. She is also the dam of the Hanoverian mare SABRINA (SIMPLY SM x GRANDORA by GOODWILL) bred by John Kimita owned by Woodhaven Farms. SABRINA was entered into the main stud book and placed 4th out of 9 three year olds. Notes: In the short time LA PALOMA has been with his owners they have enjoyed working with him very much. He has been backed and has had about 20 rides. He walks, trots and canters in a quiet manner under saddle but, because of his age, they have taken a step back and have been concentrating on manners and ground work in preparation for the sale. LA PALOMA is showing a good attitude, a kind mind, and is trying very hard to please. He has three beautiful gaits with a tremendous canter. He is showing great potential and is well worth consideration as a future sport horse.

Sire: LANDKOENIG progeny earned more winnings in 2007 and 2008 than any stallion in N. America totaling well over $600,000 and several cars. LANDKOENIG produced the highest selling jumper ever sold at the German Hanoverian sales as well as a licensed son, a 2003 and 2004 BuCha qualifier and 11 selections for German sales out of 45 registered offspring. In 2005, one LANDKOENIG gelding sold at the prestigious PSI for over $437,000. LANDKOENIG scored a 9.5 for stadium jumping at his 100-day test with a test index almost equally high in jumping as rideability. He also scored 8’s for character, temperament and willingness to work. Dam: A lovely Thoroughbred mare, DOC’S CRYSTAL raced as a 3-4 year old and won two races. She retired sound, and spent the next two years at Olds College in the horsemanship program. Since, she has had 7 foals, the last two by LANDKOENIG. O. L’HANNAH is the last of her foals. Now that Crystal’s broodmare career is over, she is back working at Olds College in the English and Western horsemanship program as a first year mount. She is sensible and intelligent with a gentle and accommodating nature. Conformation of her limbs is good and she has never had a soundness issue. Notes: O. L’HANNAH is a beautiful 3 year old bay mare with a fantastic head and a large, soft eye. She has been under saddle since July but had prior experience as she was started lightly as a 2 year old with lungeing, ground driving, and being backed. She will be inspected in September with the CWHBA. Hannah looks as though she has some growing left and will likely finish close to 17hh. She is a fluid mover who will be well suited to the hunter ring, but has the pedigree to be a star in the jumper ring too. ~ 84 ~

Sire: LANCIANO was a stakes-winning race horse in Germany before being imported to North America, and he carries some European Thoroughbred bloodlines seldom seen on this side of the ocean. His ancestors can be found in the pedigrees of Olympic competitors and medal winners in all three FEI disciplines. His grandsire contributed to the eventer AMERICAN PATROL as well as the jumpers FREE EASY and MISTER LAW. LANCIANO was inspected and is licensed with the CWHBA. He scored 7s and 8s, including an 8 for jumping. Head inspector Fritz Von Blotnitz said of him, “Overall Thoroughbred stallion who could improve warmblood breeding. For a Thoroughbred horse, he has enough elasticity.” Dam: DAFFODIL combines the bloodlines of DONNER BUBE (by DONNERHALL) and ELLA III (by CALVADOS) – both noted for their hard working, athletic offspring and grand offspring, most of which have earned premier status. This combination of bloodlines makes DAFFODIL related to a great number of international competitors, primarily in dressage and jumping. Notes: LAURIS NOBILIS is sensible, correct and has the conformation/movement to do well in the hunter ring, but she could just as easily be a valuable member of the broodmare band. Notable DONNERHALL descendants with a high percentage of Thoroughbred blood include CLEVER & SMART (eventer), DONNERGRANDE (dressage), DR. DOOLITTLE (dressage), and DON PRICIPE (dressage). LAURIS NOBILIS has been started under saddle and is both forward and smooth with an excellent over-stride – a joy to work with and a joy to ride.

His sire, ROTSPON, was also the champion of his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 1998, and his grandsire, RUBENSTEIN I, founded a line known for dressage excellence as well as some talent to jump. Add to that the tremendous influence of WORLD CUP III. Dam: AFTERNOON DELIGHT, a Premium Canadian Warmblood mare, combines the considerable influences of DONNERHALL, PIK BUBE I, GRUNDSTEIN I, FERDINAND, LUGANO II, FRUSTRA II and GOLDFISCH II. AFTERNOON DELIGHT (2001) gained Premium status in the Canadian Warmblood registry in part due to her excellent movement. As a broodmare, she has been a consistent producer, which is in keeping with the fact that she hails from one of the strongest producing dam lines the breeders have. She is a half-sibling to a jumper (5’ 3”) and an eventer (national Pony Club level). Notes: The pedigree of RUMBLE STILTSSKIN is truly rich in recognizable names, those noted for their consistent production of superior performers. He also carries two crosses - both through daughters - to the phenomenal broodmare sire, PIK BUBE I. And, as both of his parents are in the early stages of their production, the future is indeed bright for him and his relatives. This tall, dappled and handsome boy has tremendous presence, natural carriage and amazing natural movement – both free and under saddle. ~ 107 ~
