1 cup berries 1 tomato 1–2 cups spinach ½–1 cup pineapple water

Juice the first three ingredients. Mix with the pineapple water and serve. Tomatoes are part of the nightshade group of foods, which have somewhat of a bad rep for having toxins that cause inflammation and pain. Defenders of nightshades, which also include potatoes, peppers, and eggplants, claim that the benefits far outweigh anypotential problems caused by such low doses of these toxins. Our verdict? As long as you’re not overdoing it, you can reap positive benefits from mostly anything.
