Mission Statement Time for Youth in Sacramento is dedicated to empower youth to let their voices be heard by learning about local, state and federal government. We are a nonpartisan club. This group was created to serve its members goals and empower youth. We focus on developing leadership skills and becoming a united community. We need to take the time to sit down, talk peacefully with each other, and figure out new strategies to improve society. We need to start thinking outside the box. This is the place where you can speak out. This is the place to debate on issues that concern you and ask questions. Everything you have to say matters. You will not be judged on your point of views. All members agree to follow one rule; you must respect others and their right to voice their opinions. You can disagree but you must do so respectfully. Here, you can demand the voice that our government should be obligated to hear.
