How was LOGICPREP born and what contributed to its quick success? LogicPrep was born 11 years ago out of a desire to help students become the best versions of themselves and tell their stories in an authentic and compelling way. LogicPrep’s success is fueled by our students’ success – their accomplishments speak for themselves! It is no secret that the college enrollment process is becoming increasingly competitive each year. What is the role of LOGICPREP in this context? At LogicPrep, we are a radically different brand of college test prep and advising that makes the student – the whole student – our priority. Through one-onone support, our team helps students appreciate all forms of intelligence, maximize their potential, and get into colleges where they will thrive not just as scholars but as human beings. We provide academic support for high school subjects as well as standardized tests (ACT, SAT, AP, TOEFL, Subject Tests, etc.) and guidance through the college application process.

What academic year do you advise students begin with your company? Students should begin working with us as soon as their high school career starts. Our team of advisors helps younger students understand which classes to take, how to make summers count, and when to start prepping for standardized tests. The earlier students start with us, the more successful they can be! For test prep, we advise students begin as early as spring

of their sophomore year to take diagnostic tests and develop a plan for when to take the ACT or SAT. What are the distinct qualities of LOGICPREP that help students increase their chances of entering their “dream colleges”? There are many things that make LogicPrep unique. Not only are our instructors true experts in the tests that they teach (each one must score in the top 1%), but they also possess strong emotional intelligence and are deeply skilled at engaging with high school students and their families. Additionally, our advisors are all former college admissions officers with over 20 years of collective insight and experience evaluating applications at top schools such as Duke, Stanford, Vassar, UVA and Vanderbilt. This positions them well to help students develop their narratives in a genuine and holistic way and land at the best fit schools for them. What are the acceptance numbers of students at LOGICPREP? Last year, 89% of LogicPrep students were accepted to one of their top 3 colleges.

What is your advice to save parents and students anxiety in the application process? Start early! The more time you have to plan, prepare, and make thoughtful decisions about the test preparation and college search processes, the better.
