The 2019 Whiskers n Catnip BOM features 13 gorgeous batiks designed by Deb’s Cats N Quilts Designs. Kitting: In Whiskers n Catnip, monthly kits consist of WOFs cut per the directions in the color-coded kitting chart. Participants are instructed to save any leftover fabric to use in succeeding months. Kitting in this manner means less man-power spent cutting kits. Cutting in WOFs is also an efficient use of fabric. Tools Needed: The Catnip n Whiskers BOM program is composed of 12 monthly handouts. Blocks use the Creative Grids® CGRDH1 Cat’s Cradle Tool and the CGRDH4 Ultimate Flying Geese Tool. Blocks and portions of the flying geese border are completed in months 1-10. The quilt is completed in months 11 and 12. Two bonus projects are also included in the monthly instructions. Maximize your sales in this BOM program by charging an upfront sign-up fee and then charging a monthly pattern/kit fee to participants. A sign-up fee allows you to collect partial fees from your participants before you have to pay for your entire order. Order extra bolts in order to offer your participants FQ “oops” bundles at their first meeting. Participants love the “safety net” that oops bundles provide and the revenue the shop makes from these sales is also a great way to pay for your up-front costs. You can also make and sell complete kits.

Shop Sample Kits A participating shop may purchase a shop sample kit for $195. Limit ONE sample kit per store in conjunction with an initial Catnip n Whiskers collection order from Timeless Treasures. The shop sample kit includes: • 17 ½ yards of fabric to make the top and binding • Quilt pattern • Display poster • Color-coded kitting charts for the program • Shop letter with monthly marketing tips to promote the program in your store. Pattern Details: Whiskers n Catnip patterns will ship complete. Patterns are full color on high quality glossy paper. An 8” x 10” color picture of the quilt is included.
