LOOSE BIRDS
Founded in 1978 by Robert and Jo Atkinson, based in Kirkby Malzeard only 15 miles from Harrogate. Both from farming families and both very much still involved in the everyday running of the business.
Nidderdale Poultry, from the heart of the Dales, is a family-run business of over 50 years, supplying quality poultry across Yorkshire.
Allowed to roam freely around Paul & Janet Talling’s fields in Harome, the turkeys, geese and chickens at Loose Birds are definitely free range.
Their son Ryan, who now manages the business, is the fifth generation of the family to be involved in farming.

Nidderdale, who are based in the green fields around Pateley Bridge, are a long standing supplier to Weetons, providing delicious chickens, ducks and turkeys.
So delicious are these birds that they now boast a national following and are renowned for their succulent meat and fabulous taste.
