The positioning of the sun played a significant role in the development of the concept.

The correlation between the sun’s position and the building facade necessitated the introduction of shading techniques.

The concept of service stations shouldn’t limit itself solely to vehicle-related services. There’s a vast potential in incorporating new facilities that not only enhance people’s lives but also generate revenue for these stations. Service stations are abundant in Nigeria, often lining our roadsides. While they offer essential vehicular services, many other necessities remain less accessible. It’s crucial to integrate additional facilities within these service stations, thereby addressing some of these unmet needs and bringing convenience closer to people’s fingertips. By introducing a diverse range of amenities within these stations, we can cater to various needs. This expansion might include convenience stores, eateries, rest areas, clean sanitation facilities, or even spaces for community engagement. Such additions would not only provide essential services but also foster a sense of community and improve the overall experience for travelers and locals alike. Incorporating these facilities into service stations presents an opportunity to create multifunctional hubs that serve as more than just stops for vehicles. It’s a means to bridge the gap between convenience and necessity, enhancing the daily lives of individuals while concurrently contributing to the economic viability of these stations.

I actively engaged in the design thinking process, encompassing idea conceptualization, sketching, comprehensive research, and the discovery of design standards. Utilizing Revit Architecture for BIM Modeling, I crafted both working and presentation drawings, employing Photoshop to enhance visual representation. Furthermore, I assembled captivating animations using Lumion 10 Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro 2019. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I adeptly coordinated the team remotely, discovering the enriching value of collaborative efforts from a distance. This experience underscored the beauty and efficacy of remote collaborations, highlighting the immense potential for unified endeavors despite physical barriers
