I Corinthians 15:10 Family Motto: “Mitis Et Audax” meaning mild and bold (gentle and courageous) Epitaph: "He Tried" Reflections: “All Glory Is Fleeting” The story is told of the victorious Roman general who would come home from battle to a huge victory parade. The victorious armies proceed him with their captives and treasures of gold and gems, showing off exotic foods, silks, and animals from the captured land. The general rides in the finest chariot made of gold and silver drawn by majestic white stallions. His proud children ride next to their victorious father. A slave stands behind him placing a crown of laurel on his head and whispers in his ear, “All Glory is Fleeting.”
