Auld & Grey We shot this month’s cover at Auld & Grey 20th Century Antiques in Newcastle. Jennifer Auld scours second-hand shops, roadside markets and old farms throughout regional New South Wales to discover country-style furniture that evokes a sense of rustic charm. Restoring and displaying her wares in a cavernous vintage emporium she calls Auld & Grey, the space is filled to the rafters with beautifully aged pieces such as rocking horses, gardening tools and church pews. All the items are chosen with Jennifer’s eye for the country-inspired and pre-loved, although she does admit, “I find it hard to sell my pieces as I fall in love with so much of what I find.”
