Two Piece Motor The new two-piece design features an independent gearbox and motor assemblies that allows the motor to be easily removed from the gearbox for service or replacement. The new design offers an improved robustness of the gearbox and includes an outboard bearing support for the pinions shaft to reduce gear deflection allowing for decreased gear noise, wear, and extension of life. In an effort to prevent leakage, the gearbox features an improved seal and utilizes grease for lubricant instead of oil.
OnePieceTarp Thunderstone now offers a one piece manufactured tarp that has no welded seams. These tarps will measure 117” wide instead of the previous standard of 123” wide. Thunderstone has tested and found the one piece tarp offers benefits of improved durability, no seams to snag, improved cosmetics - smoother appearance, and faster open and close time.
Clean Coat ThunderArmor Clean Coat is a revolutionary tarp design that is finished with an acrylic glaze coating. The acrylic glaze coating reduces commodity buildup underneath the tarp and helps reduce cross-contamination between loads. If you are required to washout between loads this tarp makes it faster and easier to clean compared to standard tarp material. Recommended for any food-grade products, meat & bone meal, soybean meal, DDG’s, and fertilizer. Available in Black, Red & Royal Blue. 6
