2023 Employee Engagement Survey Results

Continuing efforts to improve the overall staff experience, we are excited to announce that we completed our second annual Employee Engagement survey this past June. The survey’s goal was to measure our employees’ satisfaction levels, bring in new ideas for activities for 2024, and see where we can enhance our current benefits for all employees.

Results of the survey suggest that, in general, 86% of TCC staff are satisfied with their job, 86% feel like they received adequate training, and 82% are likely to recommend employment at TCC to friends and family. An area we are particularly proud of is that 97% of employees understand how their work contributes to the success of the Club. Areas of improvement include focusing on the balance needed between work and personal life, compensation, and managing stress levels.

The survey also highlighted TCC’s current healthcare plan with additional benefits and any future benefits the employees would like to see. At this time, Greg is working with the Club’s broker as part of the normal annual renewal process to ensure the employees have the best healthcare package possible.

Some new ideas for employee engagement activities in 2024 that will be implemented are Employee Appreciation Week, movies on the lawn, Jumbo Shrimp games, and a focus on physical, mental, and financial health and wellness.

We are encouraged by the results we received, as we believe they will translate to an improved membership experience over time. By gaining insights into employee satisfaction and well-being, we can reduce turnover, improve service consistency, and create more meaningful relationships between the members and our team.
