How to Make an Informative Video for Your Business
An informative video is a very effective form of advertising. There are literally billions of videos being watched every month on the internet. So if you are not using video to promote yourself then you are leaving money on the table. So how do you come up with content for your informative video?
A good way to start is to simply answer 10 or so of the frequently asked questions that you hear. At the end of your informative video always make sure you have a CALL TO ACTION. This is very important. Too many people make awesome informative videos and then they don't tell the people watching them where to go or what to do next. If you notice on TV all of the ads say call this number now or go to (their website).
It would be a good idea to put your link in the video, or on You Tube for example you can put a clickable link at the bottom under the video. In the description box when you load your You Tube video make sure you only put http:// in front of your domain name this will make it clickable. If you put www, YouTube will not recognize it as a link. When you get your informative video created you want it to be blasted out to as many eyeballs as possible. There is a company called traffic geyser that can help you do that.
There are hundreds of sites like You Tube that you can put your informative video on, but this would take months to do manually.
If you are a little nervous about being on camera do this. Make a screen shot of an article you wrote or part of a website maybe your blog or something that is interesting that you are going to talk about. That will create a photograph on your desktop of that image. Now just drag that image into your video editing software and do a voice over recording about what you are promoting. You can do this with 1 image or more. You can even put your own picture in there. It's best to do the voice over first and then play with the timing of the picture to make it fit. It will take some practice. This can help you get over talking into a camera. After you do several times it may help you get over your camera shyness.
It is still going to be uncomfortable anything new is that way. Just keep doing them and you will get better just like you get better at anything else you repeat over and over.
