Have you got a head for heights? TIN Arts are supporting an exciting outdoor performance taking place at the Stockton International Riverside Festival this August. Prometheus Awakes is a new outdoor spectacle involving performers suspended high in the air above the audience and it will initially take place in the groundsof the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich on 22 June 2012 before being shown in Stockton on Thursday 2nd August. Hence the need to have a good head for heights! Prometheus Awakes will be the UK’s first ever large scale outdoor spectacle led by and featuring both disabled and non-disabled performers. TIN Arts are helping to recruit volunteer performers who want to be a part of this extravaganza at the Stockton performance. We are looking for people who have a willingness to take on an extraordinary journey and be part of an amazing event. You don’t need direct experience of aerial work but you do need to have a real passion for spectacle and experience of dance, circus, theatre or sports could be useful. If you have the right kind of daredevil attitude call us or email us at Prometheus@tinarts.co.uk to register your interest. We will be holding a taster aerial session in May so you can discover what it is truly like to be suspended 20 metres up in the air! This is a unique event and a fantastic opportunity to be a part of something really special!
