INVEST IN A UK HOLIDAY HOME ON THE NORFOLK BROADS ON THE EDGE OF NORFOLK & BORDERING ON PERFECTION
Tingdene Waveney River Centre is the perfect place to buy your dream holiday home.
Investing in a holiday home offers you the freedom to spend every moment of your break, exactly as you wish. You can relax in the privacy of your own space, surrounded by all the home comforts you could need for a revitalising getaway.
Rest easy, knowing there’s always a team on-site to look after your holiday home. We manage the grounds, mow the grass and tend to the gardens and roadways to make sure that when you visit, you can focus on relaxing.
The park has great on-site facilities, plus there is a marina right on your doorstep. You can have a dip in the swimming pool in the morning, pop for lunch in the on-site bar and restaurant, and then explore the Broads by boat in the afternoon.
You can even bring your dogs to stay and enjoy taking them with you as you explore the Broads and Norfolk countryside
THERE’S SO MUCH TO DISCOVER ON YOUR DOORSTEP
The Waveney Valley hugs the border between Norfolk and Suffolk. The rivers Little Ouse and Waveney effectively separate the two counties, flowing through this truly lovely part of East Anglia. This is a place of tranquil rolling landscape, picturesque villages and characterful market towns. The source of the Waveney is near the village of Redgrave, flowing by places like Bungay and Beccles before stretching out to Oulton Broad and reaching the coast at Lowestoft.
The beauty of a holiday home at Waveney River Centre is that you get the best of both worlds, with the coast and countryside on your doorstep in equal measure. The rich countryside of the Waveney Valley is a mix of unspoilt views and interesting places for everyone to enjoy.
A few minutes walk from Waveney River Centre takes you to Burgh St Peter. An ancient and charming place, it has a beautiful and unique church that’s well worth a visit. The valley is home to some more worldly delights too - try the Flint Vineyard near Bungay or Fen Farm Dairy.
Because you’re in a valley, you can explore lots of the area by boat; a huge perk of owning a holiday home with a marina on your doorstep. Little towns and villages like Beccles, Bungay and Geldeston are all accessible by water. Is there a better, more relaxing way to get to know the area around your UK holiday home?
You can also take a foot ferry and walk across to the Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve. It’s a flower filled wonderland where 28 species of dragonfly alone have been spotted. The wildlife and scenery have to be seen to be believed; it’s truly breathtaking.
And if you want to go a bit further now and again, you’re not that far from the city of Norwich. With its vast cultural heritage and thriving arts and music scene, there’s plenty to do. Norwich is home to a castle, two cathedrals and an abundance of historic streets. And there’s lots of shops too - it’s never a bad thing to balance culture with a little retail therapy.
TINGDENE WAVENEY RIVER CENTRE
Waveney River Centre is on the border of South Norfolk, in the Waveney Valley, surrounded by some of the Broads’ most stunning scenery.
This tranquil and tucked away holiday park is the essence of the Broads at their most authentic and beautiful. It’s a place you can escape to - somewhere to savour uninterrupted views across the river and marshes. A place of boatyards and birds, wildlife and the winding river.

HOLIDAY HOME FAQ’ s
REGISTERING YOUR LEASEHOLD PROPERTY
When your holiday home purchase is complete, it is very important that you register your property with HM Land Registry. The work involved in applying to purchase and register land or property is quite technical and most people employ a solicitor or licensed conveyancer to complete the process. If you are using a solicitor to act on your behalf, this will be completed for you in the process of the sale. However, if you decide not to use a solicitor, this is something that you will have to arrange within two weeks of completing the purchase.
Visit www.landregistry.gov.uk for more info.
STAMP DUTY ON LEASEHOLD
HOLIDAY HOMES
Due to ongoing changes in law regarding stamp duty, we recommend that you use a solicitor to help you calculate your stamp duty, which is due within 14 days of completing your purchase. As individual circumstances vary from person to person on the amount due, there is no simple calculation, however a solicitor will be able to assist you.
Visit www.gov.uk/stamp-duty-land-tax/overview for more information.
