Big White
Renowned for being Canada's biggest ski in / ski out village, the main street of Big White is also a ski run. As its name suggests Big White offers an abundance of powder and to ski between the infamous Snow Ghosts (trees encased with snow) gives you an eerie feeling like skiing on another planet. Kicking Horse is located 14km outside the logging town of Golden, British Columbia. It’s about a 3 hour drive from Calgary, and is about 1.5 hours west of Banff. Most skiers and snowboarders have heard of Red Mountain Resort, but in some respects it is still an undiscovered ski destination. The few that do know about the wonders of Red enjoy the major benefits of the uncrowded slopes. Another drawcard for Red is the incredibly friendly and laid back vibe of the resort and the nearby town of Rossland. Red Mountain is about 3 kilometres from Rossland in British Columbia, just inside the Canadian border, 3.5 hours from Kelowna International Airport, or just 30 minutes from Castlegar Regional Airport. The Red Resort ski area is compact but it packs a lot into the 683 hectares and 890 metres of vertical. There is beginner terrain and plenty of intermediate cruisers, but the main bias of the resort is towards expert riders. The two mountains within the resort (Red Mountain and Granite Mountain) are serviced by six lifts, and mid-week you will pretty much have the lifts and terrain to yourself. In addition to the in-bounds terrain, there are also stacks of easily accessed backcountry runs. The advantage of skiing Red is you get great bang for your buck! Accommodation, lift tickets, beverages and food are very inexpensive, so skiing and snowboarding at Red Mountain is very attractive for families, ski bums and anyone else who is happy to keep money in their pocket.

TRAVEL INSURANCE We strongly advise for travel insurance to be taken to cover cancellations, loss of deposits, medical emergencies, overseas hospital and medical expenses, theft,luggage delay, travel delay, personal liability and of course, skiing.
AIRLINES The airlines responsibility within a booking is for air carriage only and therefore accepts no responsibility for statements in brochures or injury, damage or loss with respect to property or person arising from any other services within a booking other than air carriage.
PAYMENTS Within 7 days of the invoice/booking being confirmed, a $500 per person to 50% deposit, depending on the supplier, will need to be paid. If this is not paid the invoice/ booking may become null and void. Full payment will be required at least 70 days prior to departure. Bookings made within 70 days of travel will need to be paid in full as soon as booking is confirmed and invoice issued. If there is failure to make any payment we can cancel your booking and apply the cancellation terms below.
CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS Any cancellation request must be in writing and is only valid when we acknowledge the cancellation. Regardless of whether travel has commenced, cancellations will incur charges, up to 100% of the entire booking. Bookings cancelled outside of 90 days prior to travel will have varying cancellation fees based on suppliers. Please contact us for exact fees. A $100 fee can be charged per amendment once the booking/invoice has been initially confirmed.
WEATHER CONDITIONS Under no circumstances can we be held responsible for adverse snow or weather conditions. Cancellations or alterations on the basis of snow and weather conditions are subject to the cancellation & amendment terms within these terms and conditions.
