PREFACE site visit in Jan, 2023 Visiting Ninh Thuan Square including Ninh Thuan Museum, Victory Monument and the Park in the early days of 2023 during a sudden early spring rain, my first impression was that this place was lifeless and forgotten even though it was located in the center of Phan Thiet city. In return, the architectural shape of Ninh Thuan museum is very concise and more modern than museum designs commonly found in Vietnam, very symbolic in a modern way. The lighting system is degraded and improperly designed, not bringing life to the iconic buildings and surrounding green public areas, which should be given much attention, especially in the evening, the time for residents & tourists to contemplate. Dialux Calculation Status | Finished Dong Chay is a low-lying area, downstream of the Ha Yen river flowing to O Loan lagoon. To get to Dong Chay Church, I went through countless rice fields and swamps along with narrow, rudimentary roads that had just been concreted. The population in this area is very sparse and life is difficult. In the evening, this place is covered in darkness. Suddenly, from afar, the church's gate lights flashed like a cozy stop. I imagine this place will not only be a place for religious activities but also a place for people to have village activities, exercise, and children to play. But, at the same time, I also want to preserve the darkness here.

Status | Completed “ Multiple volumes frame diverse views under a roof ” The Kaleidoscope is the living and working building located at a factory site in central Vietnam. The surrounding region is known for its severe climate: a hot wind blows throughout the dry season and typhoons and floods during the rainy season. The building is placed between the hill and the sea, and frames a series of diverse—kaleidoscopic—views in directions and times.
