gional and state economies. Tioga Downs has signed a 99-year lease option for the Tioga Country Club to commence upon award of the full casino gaming license, with an immediate $50,000 payment cementing the agreement and supporting the club. The first Annual WinterFest Celebration has been scheduled for Tioga Downs. This lightshow, fireworks, and music extravaganza will run from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve. Technologically advanced computer coordinated lights, which can be programmed for a thousand colors and timed to music, will anchor displays throughout Tioga Downs as well as sleigh rides, concerts, and fireworks. Singing Christmas trees, special celebrations, and surprise holiday guests will be featured throughout the season. “I’ve seen samples of the amazing work of these technicians and landscapers,” said Jeff Gural. “I am positive our communities and neighbors will enjoy these displays and shows. We’ll be promoting this extensively throughout the region, and look forward to celebrating the holidays together.” Added Tom Osiecki “These types of shows take months to plan, with specially designed backdrops and custom equipment made. We’re already working on this, bringing early holiday music to our offices just as the weather is turning warmer.” Tioga Downs has also expanded its wine list to include additional Finger Lakes wines. Offerings from vineyards such Glenora, Wagner’s, Pleasant Valley and Bully Hill Wineries – alongside Southern Tier craft beers - supplements and enhances our menu. “Being able to celebrate local vintages and brews on menus with local farm-to-table produce makes perfect sense,” remarked Mr. Gural. “We look forward to being able to expand this in the coming months.”
