SPECIAL CONDITIONS In addition to the General Conditions of Auction Sale as displayed in the Auctioneers’ Offices in the Sale Yard 1. All sheep must be penned by 9.30am so that the Sale can start punctually at 11.00am 2. The highest bidder shall be the purchaser, and if any dispute shall arise between two or more bidders, the lot in dispute to be put up again at the last sum bid, or the Auctioneers may declare the purchaser. 3.
The bidding to be ruled by the Auctioneers.
4. No person shall retract a bid without the permission of the Auctioneers, who reserve to themselves the right of refusing a bid and also the right of withdrawing any lot or lots from the Sale. 5. The lots to be under the immediate care of Purchasers who must remove same at their own risk on the day of the Sale, and no purchases shall be allowed to be removed from the premises until the whole of the purchase money is paid. 6. The vendor guarantees sheep sound in mouth, udder and feet on day of Sale. Purchasers must notify the Auctioneers before the sheep leave the sale yard. 7. Persons who are not known to the Auctioneers and intend making purchases must bring Banker’s reference or other approved security for their satisfaction. 8.

MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY:
The registered section will commence at Lot 14. Taking the order of the 2013 catalogue, the last 5 vendors have been moved forward five places. Any members selling Registered Ewes for the first time have been placed at the start of the registered section. Members of the Society selling non-registered ewes will be at the beginning and end of the registered section.
(b) NON MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY: Position in the catalogue determined by ballot draw in Builth Wells Office. ****************************
EAR TAGS:
All sheep must be correctly tagged in accordance with Government legislation. THREE YEAR-OLD EWES must be double-tagged with ELECTRONIC IDENTIFICATION TAG in left ear and a matching numbered ORANGE TAG in the other ear; TWO YEAR-OLD EWES must be doubletagged with an ELECTRONIC IDENTIFICATION TAG in left ear and a matching numbered PINK TAG in the other ear; YEARLING EWES must be doubletagged with a YELLOW ELECTRONIC IDENTIFICATION TAG in left ear and a PURPLE TAG in the other ear (UK Number and individual number both matching). All sheep must be properly ear tagged otherwise they cannot be sold.
