Tipton Poetry Journal, located in the heartland of the Midwest, publishes quality poetry from Indiana and around the world.
This issue features 50 poets from the United States (20 different states) and 4 poets from Canada, Spain and the United Kingdom.
This issue was assembled as the COVID-19 pandemic was gathering strength in the United States and around the world. A few of the poems reflect this, beginning with the opening “Quarantine” by Anannya Uberoi. Doris Lynch composed “Nestbuilding in a A Difficult Season” and Rosaleen Crowley offers “reflections on then and now.” We close the issue with Marjie Giffin’s “Empty City.” Hopefully, our cover photo of a chamomile daisy breaking through cobblestones also evokes for others the hope of a single flower blooming in an empty, pandemic world.
