We are Liz and Matt, the founders of Kitchen Sink Candle Company. Our journey began in the restaurant industry, where we met and instantly recognized a special connection. As chefs, we conceived the idea of food-inspired candle scents during a memorable road trip to New Orleans. Our passion for candle making blossomed from that moment, and we have been dedicated to it ever since.
Over the years, our enthusiasm for crafting delightful fragrances has only intensified, resulting in a diverse selection of over 150 scents, with more continually being added. This business embodies our love for one another, our creative spirit, and our commitment to producing highquality products.

ABOUT OUR CANDLES
All of our candles and wax melts are crafted from 100% vegan, clean-burning, U.S.grown soy wax. We exclusively use cotton core wicks and premium phthalate-free fragrance oils. Each candle is handmade in a historic mill building in Massachusetts. Our process involves meticulously wicking our jars, pouring the wax, and hand-labeling all products each step is completed with a focus on quality.
While our method may not be the simplest way to create candles, we believe it’s worth the effort, and we hope you do too!

We are often asked if we use essential oils in our candles. The answer is a little tricky. For the vast majority of our candles, we do not. As the flash point of essential oils is very low, the scent burns off very quickly. We work with a variety of fragrance houses to to create blends that are both clean burning and long lasting. We find that our blends will fill a room without being overpowering. That being said, we have created a few lines using essential oils-our Aromatherapy & Crystal Healing lines. These candles are wonderful as-is without burning and will scent a moderate sized meditation space or small office.
Chose your scent from over 100 different fragrances. All of our fragrance oils are manufactured using the highest standards, contain no phthalates or parabens and are never tested on animals. Custom blending is always available to create your own signature fragrance.
