ABOUT US
We are Liz & Matt, the owners of Kitchen Sink Candle Company! We met while working together, and knew it was love at first sight. We came up with the idea for food-based candle scents while on a road trip in New Orleans. We fell in love with candle making and have been doing it ever since! This business is the collection of our love for each other, our passion for food and our dedication to making a high-quality product. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
ABOUT OUR CANDLES
All of our Candles and Wax Melts are made with 100% vegan, clean burning, U.S. Grown Soy Wax. We use only Cotton Core Wicks & Premium Phthalate-Free Perfume Oils. We make all of our candles in a turn of the century mill building in Massachusetts and every candle we produce is done completely by hand. From wicking our jars, pouring our wax and hand labeling all of our products, everything we do is with an eye towards quality.
It may not be the easiest way to make candles, but we think it’s worth it and hope you do too!

Step 3: Choose scent
We are often asked if we use essential oils in our candles. The answer is a little tricky. For the vast majority of our candles, we do not. As the flash point of essential oils is very low, the scent burns off very quickly. We work with a variety of fragrance houses to to create blends that are both clean burning and long lasting. We find that our blends will fill a room without being overpowering.
That being said, we have created a few lines using essential oils-our Aromatherapy & Crystal Healing lines. These candles are wonderful asis without burning and will scent a moderate sized meditation space or small office.
Chose your scent from over 100 different fragrances. All of our fragrance oils are manufactured using the highest standards, contain no phthalates or parabens and are never tested on animals.
Custom blending is always available to create your own signature fragrance.
