2013 WINNERS
As the year draws to a close, I am delighted to be able to present all of the winners and highly commended projects of the eleventh annual Interior Design Excellence Awards. As those who attended the live presentations to the jury in August will attest, the competition this year was strong – which is testament to both the standing of the awards program and the calibre of the 2013 winners and highly commended projects. Peer recognition is rightly valued in the Australian design industry and I would like to congratulate all the deserving recipients of the 2013 awards. I would also like to extend my thanks to the jury panel, the IDEA production team, our sponsors and you, the designers, who continue to support both IDEA and Inside magazine. Here’s to all of the 2013 IDEA winners. —Alexa Kempton, editor Inside
