GLOBE LIFE FIELD

The home of the 2023 WORLD CHAMPION Texas Rangers takes watching a game to the next level thanks to its cutting-edge design—it’s been called the best baseball facility in the Major Leagues. Its 5.5-acre transparent retractable roof is the largest single-panel operable roof in the world. Which means, a little rain won’t stop you from enjoying the game, concert, or many of the other major events held here. Go behind the scenes of all the action with a stadium tour and explore the stadium’s first-class venues and suites, learn about the architecture of the stadium and the history of the Rangers team, and even get a chance to play catch in the outfield.

CHOCTAW STADIUM

Choctaw Stadium is home to not one, not two, but three sports teams. North Texas Soccer Club, the reserve team of the Major League Soccer team FC Dallas, and the Major League Rugby Team, the Dallas Jackals, both call Choctaw Stadium their home field. And the Arlington Renegades are back for another spring football season after clenching the XFL Championship last year.

AT&T STADIUM

Infamously known for being the home field of the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium has one of the largest center-hung HD video display boards in the world, putting you in the middle of the action. Catch a Cowboys game, see a bucket list concert, or cheer on your favorite country at a global soccer match. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to throw the perfect spiral on an NFL field, take a tour of the stadium stopping in the locker rooms of the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, catch a glimpse of the postgame interview room, and spend some time on the turf to toss the ball around.

TEXAS LIVE!

This is the ultimate spot for all your pre-game, post-game, watch party, and anytime fun and entertainment, with more than 35,000 square feet of 12 restaurants, stages, and dance floors. Kickback and watch the game on the 100-foot LED HD television in Shift4 Arena, test your bull riding skills at PBR Texas, dance the night away at a concert, or challenge your friends to a round of skee-ball at Sports & Social.

IS TOO IMPORTANT NOT TO

SHARE

BOUNDLESS SCULPTURE

Commemorating its centennial, The Rotary Club of Arlington donated this interactive public piece of art, by sculpture artist Jen Lewin. The kaleidoscope of color will anchor the Rotary Dream Park, which is scheduled to be completed this year.

ARLINGTON

SCULPTURE GARDEN

Set in the city’s first park—dating to 1924—find an eclectic range of sculptures from Texas artists. Discover and admire a massive kaleidoscope, a whimsical whirligig sculpture that moves with the wind, and other sculptures from Texas artists.

ARLINGTON

MUSEUM OF ART

You’ll never catch the same exhibit twice, with traveling and exclusive collections making their way to be displayed here in Arlington. Previous exhibitions have featured rarely seen Disney art from private collectors, rare objects from the lives of knights in the Middle Ages, art from the Renaissance and the nineteenth-century medieval revival, and even some outfits

and memorabilia from some famous musicians. Check the museum’s calendar for upcoming exhibits and events in their NEW location in The District!

THEATRE ARLINGTON

For over 50 years, Theatre Arlington has been pulling the red curtain open to live theater in Downtown Arlington. Versions of Broadway hits like 9 to 5: The Musical and

Avenue Q have hit the stage, along with their Club Series featuring cabaret and comedy performances.

CAELUM MOOR SCULPTURE

In this environmental sculpture, artist Norm Hines created five groups of granite stones, each group having its own Celtic name, within a landscaped setting in Richard Greene Linear Park.

AT&T STADIUM ART TOURS

Did you know that the stadium is also an art gallery? Not only is the building itself an architectural marvel, but it also houses more than 50 pieces of art of a variety of mediums from sculptures to paintings, including a mural by Franz Ackermann, an installation from Teresita Fernández, and a sculpture by Eva Rothschild.

MURALS

Keep your social media feed on point—take selfies with two dozen different murals around Downtown. Arlington and other North Texas artists have sprinkled their flair on the sides of buildings showcasing their talents and capturing the essence of Arlington—past and present.

THE GALLERY AT UTA

This gallery specializes in contemporary Texas art—particularly from the university’s own students and faculty. It has grown its focus to include the work on national and international talents, such as world-renowned conceptual artist Mel Chin.

MINERAL WELL PUBLIC PLAZA

This brand-new landmark pays tribute to the city’s past by commemorating the original mineral well that served as a community gathering place for almost six decades, until it was capped and paved over in 1951.

What began as a simple tearoom, evolved into illegal gambling, moonshine, brothels, and murder. In the 1930s and 1940s, this was the most exclusive invitation sought after, with guests like Frank Sinatra, Ginger Rogers, John Wayne, and Bonnie and Clyde. Don’t believe us?
