The Dock in Snow Leopard includes Stacks, which you can use to quickly HJJLZZ MYLX\LU[S` \ZLK ÄSLZ and applications right from the Dock. Stacks are simple to create. Just drag any folder to the right side of the Dock and it becomes a stack. Click a stack and it springs from the Dock in either H MHU VY H NYPK ;V VWLU H ÄSL PU H Z[HJR JSPJR [OL ÄSL VUJL
:[HJRZ PU[LSSPNLU[S` ZOV^ [OL TVZ[ YLSL]HU[ P[LTZ ÄYZ[ or you can set the sort order so that the items you care about most always appear at the top of the stack. To J\Z[VTPaL H Z[HJR WVZP[PVU [OL WVPU[LY V]LY [OL Z[HJR icon and hold down the mouse button until a menu appears. Choose the settings you want from the menu.
Mac OS X Snow Leopard includes three premade stacks called Documents, Downloads, and (WWSPJH[PVUZ @V\ VWLULK [OPZ ÄSL MYVT [OL +VJ\TLU[Z stack. The Documents stack is a great place to keep things like presentations, spreadsheets, and word WYVJLZZPUN ÄSLZ @V\ JHU KYHN ÄSLZ [V [OL Z[HJR VY ZH]L them to the stack from an application.
