IT’S TIME TO WAKE UP! ABSTINENCE MATTERS (It’s A.M.!) Featuring Bestselling Author & Abstinence Advocate Kenny Pugh It’s Time to Wake Up and realize having sex outside of marriage has dire consequences! Not only does an unplanned pregnancy interrupt a person’s most cherished dreams and life goals but the overall consequences impact our society at large in every sector (economics, education, class, health and wellness). “It’s A.M.!” (Abstinence Matters) is dedicated to helping to reverse the trend and change the culture that an over-sexed society has had on single young adults. College-aged students present the greatest risk of being caught in the consequences that ruin their abilities to achieve the greatest possible life available. “It’s A.M.!” is a forum that will encourage dialog with young people of diverse backgrounds to over 20 colleges and universities nationally. The open-forum format will address everyday issues of young people with a focus on sex, relationships and money, encouraging free thinking, ideas sharing and dialog with a diverse panel to include experts, educators, student leaders and local media that will allow these issues to be addressed in a way that empower young people with solutions and support encouraging them to make better decisions to achieve holistic success. “It’s A.M.!” will be a 1.5 – 2 hour Lunch & Learn event targeted toward co-ed college students. The forum will be led by Bestselling Author, Kenny Pugh, known for his staunch support of abstinence and celibacy as chronicled in his personal account, “Can You Do It Standing Up? A Different Position on Relationships”. Kenny is a love and money media expert and has been seen on HLN, BlackEnterprise.com, The Tom Joyner Morning Show and others sharing his story and providing tips and solutions to curb a negative trend impacting the delicate fabric of our global family structure. He is the founder of the “Celibacy is Sexy” movement as well as the “Real Men Wait” campaign under the parent brand, “Abstinence Matters”. Students will leave with a better understanding of the implications of making the wrong decisions while inspired to choose wisely. “It’s A.M.!” will work with local and national partners to ensure the event is an interactive educational, engaging and entertaining experience.
