Sarcoma of Orbit (ICD‐O‐3 C69.6) Rules for Classification The classification applies to sarcomas of soft tissue and bone. There should be histological confirmation of the disease and division of cases by histological type. Regional Lymph Nodes The regional lymph nodes are the preauricular, submandibular, and cervical lymph nodes.
TNM Clinical Classification T – Primary Tumour TX Primary tumour cannot be assessed T0 No evidence of primary tumour
T1 Tumour 20 mm or less in greatest dimension T2 Tumour more than 20 mm in greatest dimension without invasion of globe or bony wall T3 Tumour of any size with invasion of orbital tissues and/or bony walls T4 Tumour invades globe or periorbital structure, such as eyelids, temporal fossa, nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, and/or central nervous system
N – Regional Lymph Nodes NX Regional lymph nodes cannot be assessed N0 No regional lymph node metastasis N1 Regional lymph node metastasis
