When is the best time to list my acreage or country home? As an acreage specialist I get this question all the time. Or I get the statement from sellers that their intention is to wait until the trees, grass and landscaping “greens up” which usually means May or even June . The facts from data compiled for the last 5 years shows a much different picture. The #1 month for acreage/ country home properties going under contract is APRIL! Further review shows there are less properties on the market in April than in May or June. This means acreages that go under contract in April sell faster and for a better price.
