Base Colors The following 3 preliminary concepts represent the Carrboro brand with some suggested adaptations.
Concept 1 Elements
The first concept incorporates 4 of the original brand colors and includes the logo as much as possible. A pattern is introduced which is a composite of logo shapes and tints from 3 of the brand colors. Concept 2 introduces an alternate green as a support color and explores a monochromatic, fluid design character.

Concept 2 Elements
Green palette, fluid lines
Concept 3 utilizes 4 of the original brand colors with the addition of a brick red as a support color. Rust patina is repeated in some of the sign types. These 3 concepts are a starting point and are meant to facilitate discussion, deliberation and collaboration for a 2nd round of concept refinement.
