LOCKR EXPANDING AXLE Featured on the GT Sensor and Helion + Saves weight + Increases stiffness + Simplifies adjustments

EXPANDING INNOVATION HELPED US CREATE A SIMPLER FRAME PIVOT. LOCKR does more with less. The LOCKR Axle System threads into the frame and expands until they “lock” in place. GT’s thru-axle technology for frame pivots replaces traditional and heavier pinch bolts and hardware. Expanding axle. LOCKR’s pivot system expands within itself and “locks” in place, much like some front fork thru axles. Fewer parts, less weight. LOCKR reduces required parts, making the system 10% lighter than traditional pinch bolt systems. Simply stiffer. By expanding the axle on both sides into the frame, torque is transmitted equally across all surface areas, increasing stiffness by 6%. Easy access. LOCKR features a simplified, non-proprietary design that’s quickly adjusted in the field with a common multi-tool.

DUAL FIBER DYNAMICS

MORE CONTROL LESS FATIGUE As suggested by â&#x20AC;&#x153;dualâ&#x20AC;?, these seat stays are a composite of two lightweight and ultra stiff materials: a composite glass fiber and carbon. The solid core provides incredible rigidity, and the carbon outer layer acts as added vibration dampening. In the end, you have a bike that gives the rider a lot more control and a lot less fatigue on the ride.

The seat stay’s dual contact points on the top tube and seat tube create a smaller rear triangle that increases power delivery to the rear wheel. Go wide.
