ALL MOUNTAIN THE HOLISTIC RIDE
All Mountain is the holistic kind of mountain biking, as All Mountain combines all the qualities and requirements of the individual disciplines of cross country, trail riding, enduro and downhill. The F 535 ONE is the only fork that balances all the demands: efficiency, small bump sensitivity, mid-stroke support and
end progression. With position-sensitive damping and the combination of coil and air spring, the F 535 ONE is the only fork which overcomes the trade-off between small bump sensitivity and mid-stroke support. These world-first technologies make the F 535 ONE holistic suspension for a holistic ride.

HOLISTIC FUNCTION
THE NEW DIMENSION OF DAMPING PLUSHPORT is an opening in the lowspeed compression circuit which allows for nearly zero compression damping in the first couple of centimeters. It is slowly closed by a floating piston, ramping up the compression damping the further you go into the travel.
FORCE
An entirely speed-dependent damping system either generates a force which is too low in the mid-stroke or too high in the beginning stroke. PLUSHPORT adds a new dimension, travel, to the common system and generates the right force in every stroke. With PLUSHPORT, you get small bump sensitivity and mid-stroke support.
INCONTROL's three on-the-fly adjustments provide the correct balance between acceleration and traction at all times for efficient power transmission. It also offers rebound and lowspeed compression adjustment.
0 - 30% TRAVEL PLUSHPORT is fully open, the compression damping force is very low. The fork is super plush and offers unprecedented traction.
30 - 50% TRAVEL The bores are slowly closed. The compression damping rate rises gradually during a couple of centimeters of travel. Giving you a smooth transition and ideal support.
50 - 100% TRAVEL The bores are closed, creating a high compression damping to keep the fork high in its travel for mid-stroke support and prevent you from bottoming out.

HOLISTIC FUNCTION
APT gives every rider the full tuning range for air spring progression. By adding or removing volume spacer, you choose how much end progression you get.
COIL PERFORMANCE / AIR WEIGHT COILPAIR combines a coil spring with an air spring system to provide the best of both worlds. Due to the zero friction of the coil spring, it compresses before the air spring piston even starts to move, pro-
viding real coil sensitivity. The high-end LINEAIR system is not only lightweight, it also features the much appreciated bottom-out resistance of an air spring.
SPRING CURVE Low breakaway force: COILPAIR Linear mid-stroke: LINEAIR
FORCE
Bottom-out control: APT
The big air chambers are responsible for the linear part of the curve and give you the mid-stroke support you need.
TRAVEL F 535 ONE COMPETITORS
Zero breakaway force and the low friction of the coil spring ensure plushness in the beginning stroke and a linear spring curve.

HOLISTIC DESIGN
FORM IS A FUNCTION Nature epitomizes this credo. Sections that have a lot of functions and need to support large loads, are thick and high volume. Sections with fewer functions
and smaller loads, on the other hand, are always thin and svelte. This not only results in an unique design, but also the ideal ratio of weight to stiffness.

ALL MOUNTAIN
1900 SPLINE HIGH-END IN ALL CLASSES Mountain biking is constantly evolving. In Cross Country, you no longer simply ride natural single-tracks; man-made obstacles now create unprecedented loads. What was once considered a downhill track is now your daily lunch ride on your enduro or all mountain bike. Wheels need
to withstand heavy loads, allow easy acceleration and offer a larger inner width for better tire support. To meet the needs of Cross Country, All Mountain and Enduro riders, we have completely redeveloped our 1900 SPLINE line.
RIM By using the World Cup proven rim profile, we were able to reduce the ratio of weight to inner width by 19.04%.
Lighter and wider
HUB By increasing the distance between the middle axis and spoke holes, we were able to improve the lateral stiffness, thanks to the larger bracing angle of the spokes.
Improved stiffnes
SPOKES & NIPPLES DT Swiss spokes and nipples stand for durability and precision and are unrivaled thanks to their unique production process. They combine a light weight with stability.

A WHEEL IS MORE THAN THE SUM OF ITS COMPONENTS
HAND BUILDING
COMPONENTS High-end components play a decisive role in the quality of a wheel. But it takes even more to construct a high-end wheel.
HAND-BUILT The other factor which determines a wheel's performance is the quality of the building process. Like the 1900 SPLINE, every DT Swiss wheel is hand-built, since no machine will ever match the precision of our experienced wheel-builders.
QUALITY CONTROL DT Swiss takes a "fingerprint" of each wheel. The fingerprint includes the tension of each spoke, the centricity and concentricity. A wheel leaves the DT Swiss factory only when its fingerprint meets our strict requirements. The fingerprint of each wheel is saved in our database, along with the name of the wheel-builder. HIGH-END WHEELS All of these factors ensure the highest level of quality of DT Swiss wheels. With the 1900 SPLINE, we are offering high-end wheels at an attractive price for Cross Country racers, All Mountain bikers or Enduro riders.

FREERIDE — SEND IT, PIN IT The bike industry has had its trouble to define the term «freeride». We don't care because when you are airing out of that berm you built or gapping gaps on the DH track, so big they could be a feature at Rampage, you don't care either. MTB
FROM PROTOTYPE TO PRODUCT Technical progress in mountain biking is driven by racers seeking to shave seconds off their times. Downhill tracks are harder, cornering speeds higher, gaps bigger and rock gardens rougher than ever before. This development of the tracks prompted the teams to try different wheel sizes. After decades on 26" wheels, in 2013, riders started to use 27.5" in World Cup events. And something that couldn't even have been imagined a few years ago became reality last year - 29" in Downhill World Cups. Racers decided to ride the wagon wheels to gain the marginal time advantage determining victory or defeat. When the teams told us of their plans, we were keen to build wheels to provide the leading edge. All the high-quality components such as rims, spokes and hubs were in place. Our experts in wheel-building at the BPM, short for Biel Performance Manufacturing, had all the know-how and experience required to assemble the parts and construct a strong 29" wheel. Behind the BPM are Marcel Waldmann, multiple Masters Downhill World Champion, and his team of talented wheel-builders. With their many combined years of experience in wheel construction, they make the BPM a very special department. When it comes to wheel construction, these
women and men are in a class of their own. Working with the utmost precision and smallest possible tolerances, which no machine will ever equal, they draw on experience from thousands of wheels built over the last ten years. Once a wheel has been fully assembled and meets all our strict requirements concerning spoke tension, centricity and concentricity, it has to prove its qualities in our test lab. When the wheel passes all the tests, we give it to the fastest riders in the world and excitedly await their feedback and input. What is even better than positive feedback is when an athlete wins a World Championship title on prototype wheels. As happened in Cairns 2017. Matt Walker, the young gun from the UK, won the junior World Championship downhill race and got his first rainbow stripes on 29" prototype wheels. What does that mean for us? Since the prototype wheel set has passed our tests, meets all our strict requirements and won some rainbow stripes at the World Championships, we have launched serial production and now YOU too can ride these wheels as the brandnew FR 1950 CLASSIC.

Our new product naming follows a clear and easy to understand structure. The first letter of the product name refers to the corresponding category and the type of rim. For example, ARC stands for Aero Road Carbon. The four digit number refers to the hub level. The lower the number, the higher the performance of the
hub. For example 1100 means based on a 240s hub with SINC ceramic bearings and Ratchet System technology. The names of the various wheel families (SPLINE, DICUT & CLASSIC) are also part of the product name, as are the rim height and - in the case of disc brakes - the abbreviation «db».

It's no exaggeration to say that the ARC 1100 DICUT wheels are the new industry benchmark in aerodynamic performance. With extremely low drag numbers and outstanding aero stability, these wheels give you everything you need to cross the finish line, or at least reach the second
transition zone, in record time. A huge number of IRONMAN podium spots for DT Swiss athletes racing on these wheels are testament to this. Daniela Ryf’s third World Championship title in a row and the first title ever on ARC 1100 DICUT wheels was the crowning glory!
When we started the development of the AERO project, it was clear to us that we had to get the best partner with leading aerodynamic know-how on board. DT Swiss is known for top quality and excel-
lent wheels. With SWISS SIDE we have found the ideal partner for the ambitious AERO project having both a geographic proximity as well as a common vision.
SWISS SIDE With over 50 years of Formula1 previously unseen development techniques experience the Swiss Side team is revolutio- to the industry to maximize the performance nizing cycling aerodynamics by bringing of cycling products.

MINIMAL AERO DRAG
Whether you’re riding on the Queen K highway or on your local training circuit, you’re most probably going to face some serious crosswinds now and again. DT Swiss Aero wheels will give you the stability you need to maintain an aerodynamic position and keep the pressure on the pedals. The graphs below show the
It’s all about the sailing effect. DT Swiss Aero wheel impress with their extremely low base drag level and sought-after sailing effect at high yaw angles. The design of the ARC 1100 DICUT rims allows the wheels to create negative drag at high yaw angles (>10°), which generates no-
steering moment and stall behavior of all three ARC 1100 DICUT rim depth. It is noticeable that the steering moment remains low even at high yaw angle and that the stall is smooth and uniform. This is crucial for good, predictable handling in gusty crosswinds.

ARC 1400 DICUT With the ARC 1100 DICUT wheels we have set a new benchmark in aerodynamics. Our second step is to bring this outstanding technology to the 1400 level in order to give even more riders the opportunity to benefit from DT Swiss aero wheels.
The aerodynamic performance of the ARC 1400 DICUT wheels is identical to that of the ARC 1100 DICUT series. At first glance, the wheels seem to be identical. So where's the difference?
THE COMPARISON CAN YOU SPOT THE DIFFERENCE? It’s unlikely, because there's no visual difference other than the decals on the rims with the relevant product names. Let’s take a closer look at the hubs and the spokes. That's where the difference lies.

forms as good as humanly possible at a given moment in human and technological development. Aero+ is based on three pillars: DRAG, HANDLING & EFFICIENCY
DRAG Aerodynamic drag is a complex issue. A number of factors need to be taken into account to optimize a wheel’s aerodynamics. Even though the rider is the largest source of air resistance, it is the aerodynamics of the wheels that has the greatest influence on reducing drag. The ERC 1100 DICUT has excellent aerodynamic properties, offering aero drag and maximum aero stability for all relevant yaw angles. Best of all it is right in the ballpark with the competition both when run with 25 mm and 28 mm tires.
HANDLING The complete bike is responsible for 25% of the total aero drag with the wheels – as a part of the complete bike - account for only 8% of the total aero drag. On the other hand the rider is responsible for 75% of the total aero drag. So why are the wheels so important? In order to maintain an aerodynamic position on your bike, you need to have your bike under control, regardless of the wind conditions. Aero drag will only have a positive influence on the 75% if you maintain this aerodynamic position. This is why good handling is so important! The ERC 1100 DICUT handles brilliantly, regardless of the wind situation and the tire width selected.
EFFICIENCY Efficiency is defined by comfort, grip and rolling resistance. The wheels have a direct and important influence on how the tires react to these factors. This is why we paid special attention to them during the development of the ERC 1100 DICUT. They are a fundamental part of the AERO+ concept.
DRAG The longitudinal aerodynamic force slowing the rider down

If AERO+ is the essence of #longdaysout, then this trip was synonymous with it. It was an unique experience with countless memories. Four days across the Alps from Munich to Venice with 400 like-minded people. The Tour de Friends had it all. The trail leads us along remote gravel roads, past Bavarian lakes, at full speed to the coast and above all provided plenty of fun along the way. It was everything we could have wanted and the perfect playground for our Endurance wheels.

RIDE FURTHER
FURTHER HARDER SH A RE
250 watts of extra power broaden the horizon even for the fittest of us: Energy sapping ground and snowy rides just get a whole lot more fun. And what used to be an epic ride turns into a two hour experience condensing the vertical gained, the trails ridden and the vertical crushed. It’s really like riding TO HEAVEN AND BACK.
Going on your familiar rides with the power of an olympic XC athlete lets you start to see the terrain with different eyes: Reverse the direction and you notice riding up trails is a lot of fun. Riding a root carpet at twice the speed, that long, painful push up the baby head gravel road to get to ride that secret trail? Now a game of navigating the obstacles, it allows you to TURN PAIN INTO FUN.
THE RIDE
RIDE HARDER
Beyond bringing new people into the wonderful sport that mountainbiking is, eMTBs allow die hard athletes to share their riding adventures with their partners, their kids and virtually anyone who ever dreamed to go fast and far. Seasoned mountainbikers starting to feel their age continue to do their demanding loops. And riders which have to carry many hats in real life can still join their wednesday night group ride. So yes, eMTBs really are making sure that EVERYONE ROCKS AND ROLLS.

THE L AB
The lab is where our HYBRID components are put to the test. Here we keep refining and finding new test procedures to simulate what happens on the trail as accurately as possible. All with one goal: To make your wheels even better and develop them even faster than today. Over the twenty years DT Swiss has been developping wheels, we have gathered an unparalleled testing know how. With this know how and a tightly knit test rider group, we are able to design a wheel just right for its intended use. By veryfing and knowing the loads occurring in real world riding, our in house wheel testing equipment can quickly go through a wheels whole lifetime to double check its performance for the intended use. Still many iterations are needed to find that perfect strength to weight ratio for a given appli-

cation. To do these product development iterations, you need the ability to quickly prototype products. We have set up a global network of inhouse and external specialists that make this happen. Enter Philipp LĂźdi: It's the network he built and is leading. Being a die hard mountain biker himself, he also makes sure that the wheel prototypes that are tortured on the test benches, also hit the dirt as quickly as possible. When testing to our set HYBRID standards, we found two things: 1. The spoke contact area needs to be strengthened, 2. There are areas that can be kept just as lightweight as on regular MTB rims. These findings have led us to optimize the profile of our HYBRID rims for weight in non critical areas and reinforce them where it counts. hardened steel 24T ratchets, oversize bearings and steel rotors. Via this clever optimization we have achieved a 150 kg system weight classification with only a minimal weight increase compared to same level MTB hubs. The final result is a gem of a hub that can withstand huge torque loads, offers quick engagement and when used in combination with our HYBRID system components 24T is part of an amazingly robust wheel set. Versatility. A mountainbike is meant to go up and down mountains and to provide fun while doing so. The H 1700 SPLINE do precisely that. And since e-bikes allow the rider to go up and down many mountains in one ride, reliability is key. And weight, because fun is to be had. On the H 1700 SPLINE both requirements are met. With

When motor assist and human leg power meet, the range of terrain a bike can conquer grows almost exponentially. The H 1900 SPLINE are designed for that. We have given them the reliability of Swiss precison hubs, tough spokes and a strong, yet lightweight rim to head out into unknown rides, just to see how far this new
man / machine system can go. But you needn't worry: Like all of our products, passionate employees have tested the H 1900 SPLINE to their limits in the notoriously rough and steep Jura mountains. To prove their reliability so you don't have to, for that and because it's a whole lot of fun.

WE LIVE PERFORMANCE eMTB DANIEL BERGER
VICE PRESIDENT MARKETING, DT SWISS MOUNTAIN BIKER SINCE 1986
Internally known as «eBerger», heck he even has his own eBerger cap. That's how much he is infected by electrically powered mountain biking.
LIVE eMTB
« The eMTB has lit my fire for the sport like the first Stumpjumper I bought back in 1986 has, when I first put its knobbies to the dirt. I immediately knew that these bikes will have a great future and slowly realized what we could contribute to make them even greater. Once we had mission HYBRID outlined, we quickly worked together as an organization to make it happen. I am super stoked on how it came out and I am even more stoked for what's coming up. »
