THE LINE UP ENVE: Noun- A totally unique object that can move or inspire all that use it or see it! Transitive Verb – (en·ve·ing) Placing the target or goal beyond the expectation of what is deemed possible, thus challenging ones creativity or understanding of what can be achieved. Adverb – (en·ve·ing·ly) To be the object of someone’s interest or focus.
At ENVE we believe an optimal product exists at the intersection of form, function and beauty. As Artists, we simply want to share our vision and creativity with all of those who will appreciate it. As Engineers, we ask, ‘Why Not?’ and then search for the solutions pairing the use of the latest technologies, most advanced materials and the constant challenge to find uniquely innovative ways to produce the best performing bike products in the world. As a Culture, we dump our hearts, souls and passion into everything we do. The result is a collection of uncommonly special products standing subtly against the ordinary.

ROAD/TRI The Smart ENVE System The recipe for a fast wheel is no one single element; rather, it’s a combination of factors. When you start with in-frame development and blend proven aerodynamics, optimized stability, lightweight, stiffness and durability, the result is a revolutionary wheel design. Introducing the Smart ENVE System.
5
ROAD/TRI THE LINE UP
SPEED The Smart ENVE System optimizes the interface between the frame surfaces and the wheels, creating an integrated system. The front and rear wheels interact differently with the air and the rest of the bicycle. Rim shapes are optimized to allow airflow to stay attached at higher yaw angles, thus reducing drag and improving ride performance. •
The front wheel is wider and shallower to improve stability and reduce drag in any wind condition.
•
The rear wheel is deeper to reduce drag where stability is less affected.
•
Wheels were tested on multiple frame designs in order to produce the maximum drag reduction. The result is a wheel system, which handles predictably, and displays superior drag results when installed in multiple bicycle frame designs.
STABILITY
Smart ENVE System 3.4
Steering feedback in variable conditions needs to be predictable to have total handling confidence. Less predictable wheels have a non-linear steering response, resulting in erratic and unpredictable handling in unsteady conditions. The shape of the Smart ENVE System rim is optimized to ensure even and predictable airflow attachment. What the rider experiences is a balanced build up of side force as the angle of crosswind changes. This allows the rider to accurately predict the handling mannerisms of the wheel and avoid dangerous over correction cycles.

The new Smart ENVE System 3.4 is specifically designed as a multi-purpose wheelset that can be used in virtually all weather conditions, terrains, and disciplines. The 3.4s, being shallower, offer maximum performance characteristics for professional and novice riders alike in mountainous terrain, or when the wind conditions are too robust for the 6.7s. The 3.4 wheel system produces very low drag numbers while delivering confidence inspiring stability for even the lightest among us. Dedicated training and resolute focus will deliver you to the start line; ride the 3.4’s and we guarantee, no matter the outcome, you won’t second guess your wheels come the finish line. www.enve.com
The new Smart ENVE System 6.7 is specifically designed for the performance driven Triathlete and Road Racer. The 6.7s have proven time and again to be the fastest, most stable, wheelset available when installed on a bike in comparison to wheels of similar stature. Having been available for only a few months, the 6.7s are rapidly forging a presence on triathlon and road race podiums around the globe. In May 2011, Timo Bracht in his first race aboard the svelte 6.7, broke one of the longest standing Ironman records in Lanzarote, Spain. We believe that this is just the beginning of many records that will fall to the quiet 6.7s.
•
The focus on steering stability resulted in improved handling and confidence in varying crosswinds.
•
Therefore, the wheel shape was optimized to produce a predictable and linear response.
•
The target stability gradient was 1.0.
STRONG, STIFF, LIGHT – The Enve Process ENVE is renowned for developing the strongest, stiffest and lightest rims on the market. This durability is proven across all disciplines of the sport including being the first and only carbon wheel to podium at World Cup DH events. All ENVE products, including the Smart ENVE System, share this advanced manufacturing technology. These technologies involve: •
Highest strength to weight ratio in the industry. Proprietary molded in spoke hole technology.
•
Textured braking surface allowing for a more positive engagement and better braking in wet conditions.

Elegantly designed with subtle foil shape and a 25mm depth, this rim is anything but delicate. Born in the mountains of Northern Utah, the 25 shines as the terrain and wattage progress toward the sky. This purpose built rim will reward your every effort and maximize your every discipline. In the end you will get to experience the responsiveness of what a tire would ride like if you could magically attach spokes to it.

Best described as a jack of all trades, this “Magic Bullet” is known as the ENVE 45! When we are asked which wheel set does it all, the natural response steers toward the 45. It is one of the most versatile carbon rims available, ideal for everyday training as well as uncompromising race day performance. Implementing our proprietary features and manufacturing process, our 45 is available in three models: 45 Clincher, 1.45 Tubular (Ultralight), and 2.45 Tubular (Standard). Load the combination that works best for you then pull the trigger!
2.65 65c
The release and use of this rim has stirred plenty of debate as to its ideal application. Some call it the best TT wheel they have ridden, to others their favorite crit wheel, cyclo-crossers swear by them, and road racing is a given. Where things get really interesting is that the rim is so light that some racers insist it should even be used for hill climbs. Given this wheel’s uncompromising cornering and aero performance, our pro racers report abnormal amounts of friction amongst team members as they vie for the opportunity to roll the 65s in their “A” priority races vs. other options. The cycling world may be a more harmonious place without the 65, but it certainly wouldn’t be as fast. Available as: 65 Clincher, 1.65 Tubular (Ultralight), and 2.65 Tubular (Standard). After you have chosen what’s best suited for your discipline, it’s clear you will love the “Founders Favorite”.

MTN From XC to DH and everything in between, we’ve ridden every trail and rut on the Wasatch Front. So it should come as no surprise that ENVE has designed, engineered, and produced the strongest, stiffest, and lightest rim for every type of mountain riding. Everyone at ENVE rides a mountain bike, and Jason Schiers’ (Founder) addiction to playing in the dirt led to the development of our first official product when we were Edge Composites; the EDGE 26” XC full carbon clincher. Since that time we have developed a full range of mountain rims for every discipline in the dirt from 26 to 29 inch wheels in both XC, AM, and new for 2012 DH variations. While selfishly motivated, we are thrilled to share some of our finest accomplishments and in our humble opinion, the best upgrade you can make to your mountain bike.

The start line often comes at the end of a rigorous week of trail riding. Most of us understand that racing is, even at the highest level of sport, only a small percentage of the time spent in the saddle. Many have two wheel sets -- one training set used for day-in-day out riding and another reserved solely for racing. Those days are over. The ENVE XC is the lightest in our mountain line with the mind set of what goes down, must first go up. Stiff, light, and durable this rim’s bloodline is racing. If the mention of 100K makes you think of riding and not how much money you want to make, then this rim is for you. The XC is an investment in speed, weight, and balance that will reward you and your rig. www.enve.com

Again this is one of those products that come from a dark corner of the minds of those who get lost on single track and have to ride back up to “hit that one more time.” This rim was designed by riders while riding, to fit the needs of those that want to push the E on every descent. The rim is specifically shaped to handle the demands of aggressive trails and riding where the hits, travel, and tires are bigger. It starts with a wider 28mm stance to better support larger tires and minimize the roll, thus delivering superior stability and tracking in technical terrain.

Prior to the introduction of the ENVE 1.0 road forks, the thought of attacking an exposed hairpin turn on a sketchy alpine descent aboard a 300 gram fork was enough to cause even the most seasoned veteran to reassess their entry speed. The addition of the 1.0 road forks to our line was met with a fair amount of enthusiasm by those who already owned the 2.0. The 1.0 is an ultra-light fork engineered to meet the highest industry safety and quality standards without compromising the ride quality that we are known for. So if you’re setting out to build something exceptionally light, that you actually intend to ride, then the choice is clear…. Go 1.0!

The cornerstone of the ENVE fork line, the 2.0 is where fork performance starts. Regardless of model or steerer tube configuration everything starts with the 2.0 version. These forks are designed to do everything, and do it well. It starts with the process of finding a functional shape that allows the carbon to be in its best configuration. Next is the refinement of the ride and weight until it is up to ENVE standards. In the end, the standard that we adhere too! So no matter what you are looking for this fork deserves consideration.

In the end, the standard that we adhere too! So no matter what you are looking for this fork deserves consideration. Whether it is our 1 1/8” standard, 1 ¼” or 1 ½” tapered, we have a fork that will meet your needs.
FORKS ROAD True to ENVE Culture, we first asked the question, “How do we use carbon to maximize this part, in this case a road fork?” The engineering answer was to create a fork with no co-molding, bonding, or drilling. Using a proprietary molding process all ENVE road forks are 100% molded carbon fiber from steerer tube to dropout. Our forks capitalize on unique tooling designs that allow us to create parts that are free of traditional concepts. With this freedom we offer thoughtful, logical improvements to the strength and ride, all at unbelievable weights. Several people have challenged us as to why we make forks when so many frames now come with them, to this we answer . . . ask someone who’s ridden an ENVE!

It goes without saying that we make a cross fork, after all, it seems that the cross crowd was the first to embrace ENVE products. Thanks to robust racing performance at a surprisingly light weight, the differences in our product became clear as we rapidly distanced ourselves from our competition. As with all our products, we established a goal of what the product should be, then with the help of sponsored racers and local crusaders we came up with something we are proud to put our name on. The CX is now available in 1 1/8” and 1 1/2” options, and is ready to tackle mud, bumps, snow, and rain.

Using the same molding technologies developed for our line of premium road forks, we set out to make the stiffest, strongest fork possible for the track. With uncompromised steering precision and handling, this fork is ready to take on the endurance of an omnium and the force of a sprint.
If we were to compare bike racing to warfare, Cyclocross would be medieval at best. The strongest of men and women, battling it out in the most unfavorable of conditions, using in this case, the most primitive of weapons, the cantilever brake... At ENVE Composites, we are proud to announce that we are bringing a gun to this knife fight.
