The BP Portrait Award 2015 is proving to be another roaring success. In its 36th year this year, there were 2,748 entries submitted by artists across 92 countries, and the resulting exhibition represents the very best of contemporary portrait painting. The top prize of ÂŁ30,000 was awarded to 2015 BP portrait winner Matan Ben Cnaan, an Israeli artist for his painting Annabelle and Guy (see above). To celebrate another year of quality portrait making, Cass Art is hosting BP Workshops and Meet The Artist Events in several of our art shops.
