The movie which is supposed to start in November has been postponed to January and again it is now postponed to March and if still it continues to postpone then there would be no movie of Pawan Kalyan in 2014. However the director has confirmed that the movie will commence it’s shooting in March and already pre-production works of the movie is in progress. As Satya’s body is burnt partly, the doctor performs a surgery and replaces his body with a new look (Ram Charan). Satya with new look and it easy to take the revenge on the people who is responsible for the death of his lover. Just about when he finishes act of vengeance, he comes to know about a bigger purpose in his life. The rest of the story is all about how he achieved the goal. Artists Performance : Yevadu reviewActors: Ram Charan is excellent in a role that carries emotions of two souls. His dialogue delivery, screen presence and dances are superb. Allu Arjun is very good in a pivotal role. Shruti Hassan has a bubbly character and did well. Amy Jackson has a role in the first half. Kajal Agarwal did a small yet important role. Sai Kumar is superb as the main villain. His looks, solid body language and captivating voice helped to elevate the villain role. Kota Srinivasa Rao though has a limited role provides entertainment with Nellore dialect. He is so good that when says ‘yow, podisemundu choosukovakharla’ while dying people were laughing amidst climax. Jayasudha gets a vital role in this film and she is adorable and brings balance to the film with her work. Shashank is very good and it’s nice to see him different characters. The characterization of Brahmanandam’s role should have been entertaining. LB Sriram gets a good role of a suppressed elderman and he perfectly essays it. Vakkantham Vamsi is intriguing it helps the screenplay. It’s a revenge story with an unusual angle. Director Vamsi Paidipally has been the director who has good grip on action orientation (Munna) and family emotions (Brindavanam). He has used these two strengths with a commercial screenplay to deliver Yevadu. Jayasudha’s thread in this film is a big plus for family crowds. The emotions of all basti episodes will attract masses. I really liked the way director gave credit to his team with end title card with ‘a film by Vamsi paidipalli and team’. Yevadu reviewOther departments: Songs by Devi Sri Prasad are good. Background music is very good. The background music scored for Basti episodes has helped in getting emotions across very well. Cinematography by Ram Prasad is a plus. Dialogues by Abburi Ravi are alright. Editing is fine. Action episodes composed by Peter Hein and Selvam cater well to the masses. Dil Raju’s decision to release Yevadu for pongal seems be working well as this film has all the ingredients that are required for a commercial hit. Analysis : Yevadu reviewMovie starts off in an interesting mode. First half is alright. Second half has pretty good emotional elements with the Jayasudha (family emotions) and Sai Kumar (mass emotions). The plus points of film are Ram Charan’s performance, commercial screenplay that has an inherent factor that arouses curiosity and director’s ability to handle mass and family emotions. On the flip side, the first half of the film has no conflict point as hero continues to kill the targets with zero opposition and there is lot of violence in the movie. On a whole, Yevadu is a film that has all ingredients to work at Box Office this Sankranthi!. 32

There is lot of underplaying in his characterization and it’s multi-layered. He is simply superb. On the commercial front, his work in interval episode and the shadow step he has done in ‘You Are My Love’ are of top-notch. screenplay tricks in the movie. Director Sukumar added 20% more commercial appeal to what needed for a psychological thriller, but stayed with the theme of the film most of the times. The length of the film should have been taken care of and the screenplay should have been crisp and racy. There are certain issues with the film - heroine interaction in Goa episodes appear repetitive and there is no scope for songs in this kind of thriller. Sukumar has followed Hollywood style and orientation by narrating the film in a classy way. We do expect the death of villain as the final frame of a typical Telugu movie. But there is a lot to the story after the villain’s death. I loved the way he connected the titles episode of the film to the climax and how parents faces are revealed. There is lot of detailing in the film and some people might need a second viewing to understand the nuances and innuendoes in the movie. Analysis : 1 Nenokkadine reviewFirst things first. 1 Nenokkadine is not an universal film like Dookudu. It belongs to psychological thriller genre. Thriller and psychological are two rare genres that are least attempted in Telugu film industry. It’s also a multi-layered movie. Plus points of film are Mahesh Babu, screenplay, cinematography, production values and technical values. On the flip side, the sluggish narration and excessive runtime hampers the tempo. When three big names - Mahesh Babu, Sukumar and 14 Reels are involved in making such a high-budgeted film, there are bound to be a lot of expectations. 1 Nenokkadine is not a commercial potboiler. Film lovers who have exposure to Hollywood films and world cinema will appreciate this movie. 1 Nenokkadine is a film that makes Mahesh, Sukumar, producers and entire unit proud. We need to wait and see how a common movie lover who is used to formulaic films lap it up. 33

Actor Sumanth, the grandson of legendary Actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao who tasted flop after flop is now coming with a new movie Emo Gurram Egaravachu directed by Chandra Siddharth, Earlier both Chandra Siddharth and Sumanth worked together in Madhumasam. Sumanth has kept lot of hopes on the movie, though the film which supposed to release yesterday could not do because of some reasons and it was released today in the theaters so let us see how the movie is about. Story: The movie is very simple and it is about two characters Bullabai (sumanth) a ordinary guy fails in tenth exams for fourteen times but with the help of his close relative he try to qualify the exam but the inspection team once again fails him in the exams. Meanwhile Neelaveni (Pinki Savika) comes from the foreign country to get married but even after seeing number guys she does not likes anybody. Bullabai tries to win her heart. Now we have to see if the Bullabai will win the heart of Neelaveni and well he marry her and his dream of going to foreign country comes true, for these answers one should see the movie. Performance: Sumanth acting is normal still for his role he should do better, Pinki Savika acting is totally bad she has to improve her acting skills. Thagubothu Ramesh and SS Kanchiâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s comedy is ok. And remaining actors role is normal. Technical highlights: The director has used routine story and experimented with the movie. There is nothing new in the movie. Music by Keeravani is superb, Editing is poor, Cinematography is better especially the foreign countries and village sides. Few minutes of climax. When we hear the name Anjali Devi suddenly we recollect epic character Sita from the movie “Lava Kusa” yes, she is none other then the legendary actress Anjali who passed away recently in Chennai. The actress not only contributed her services for the South Indian film industry but after dying also she donated her organs to Ramchandra Medical college. Anjali Devi who acted in more than 500 movies both in Telugu, Tami and Kannada was born on 24th August, 1927 at Peddapuram in East Godavary district, her original name is Anjani Kumari but noted director C.Pullaiah has given her name has Anjali Devi in the movies. Anjali Devi debuted in the Tollywood movies in 1936 with ‘Raja Harishchandra’ and in 1940 she debuted as heroin in the movie ‘Kastajeevi’ though she was getting lot of offers but the movie ‘Gollabama’ directed by C.Pullaiah has earned name and fame in the film Industry. She has acted with legendary actors like N.T.Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao with a competitive spirt and most of the movies were blockbusters at the box office. In the year 1963, for the first time “Lava Kusa’ movie was released in a color format in which Anjali Devi has played the role of Sita, which has created sensation in the South India for her acting skills, still people cannot forget her role as sita. It was turning point in the life of Anjali Devi. In 1940, She married Music director Adi Narayana Rao and had two sons, with the help of her husband she launched her own banner on which she produced hit movies like Anarkali, Bhaktha Tukaram, Sathi Sakubhai, Chandipriya and 27 other movies. As a disciple of Satyasai Baba she also made a serial on him which was telecasted on the TV channel. dedicated her entire life for the film industry by capturing the hearts of lakhs of people as passed away on 13th January and her last rites was performed on January 16th , her grand children who settled in US rushed to Chennai to perform her last rites. It is unfortunate that the Andhra Pradesh Government and Central Government failed to respond when she died and also failed to recognize her great services to the Telugu film Industry however the Tamil Nadu Government sent senior officials as part of respect to the legendary actress. Dr.Akkineni Nageswara Rao has passed away Legendary Telugu actor and Dada Saheb Phalke Awardee Dr.Akkineni Nageswara Rao has passed away today early morning at 2:00 am. Nageswara Rao was 90 years and was suffering with Cancer and breathed his last while he was undergoing treatment in a care Hospital here in Hyderabad. He was recovering recently from the cancer however suddenly he was admitted in care hospital. Nageswara Rao who is popularly known as ANR was born on Sept 20th 1924 in a Farmerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s family in Krishna district. He started acting has a stage artist in Dharmapatni in 1941 he acted in more than 256 movies both in Telugu and Tamil. His last movie was Manam which is a family movie of Akkineni starring his son Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya. ANR was honored with Padma Vibhushan for his contribution to the Indian Cinema. He played varity of roles like soldier, saint, college student and never forgotten movie Alcoholic lover in Devadas. The entire Tollywood and Indian film industry condoled the death of legendary actor. On behalf of Tollywood.Net we condoled the death of the great all time actor of Tollywood. Legendary actor late Akkineni Nageswara Rao has not died due to Cancer but due to heart attack. According to doctors ANR who was suffering with Cancer was undergoing treatment in the care hospital and he asked the doctors to speed up the treatment because his heart is stronger and he can face with out any problem when the doctors started treatment it got affected on his heart due to which he suffered serious heart attack and passed away.

Young hero UK is no more Young hero late Uday Kiran who entered into film industry at a tender age of 19 years without having any god father or any support has created a sensation with his first movie ‘Chitram’ directed by Teja under the banner Ushakiran movies. The experiment made by Teja with new hero in making a movie has proved successful in the film industry. Uday Kiran after taking one year gap once again he team up with Teja for ‘Nuvvu Nenu’ which was a blockbuster at box office, the movie not only brought name and fame for Uday but also awarded film fair award for the best actor. He is second youngest hero to get the award after actor-director-producer Kamal Hassan. After success of two movies he signed third movie with MS Raju’s banner ‘Manasantha Nuvve’ directed by V.N.Adithya which was blockbuster at the box office, the movie is not only a super hit but also created Hat-trick in Tollywood Industry. Uday Kiran was the first person in Tollywood to create hattrick. From the year 2000 to 2004 Uday Kiran has captured the hearts of young girls in entire south India. He has proved his talent in the industry and shown the world that there is a young hero who is going to rule in the film industry. He got respect and blessings from various film personalities both from Telugu and Tamil Industries. But unfortunately Uday Kiran has to face problems from the day he got engagement with Mega star turned politician cum Union Minister Chiranjeevi’s eldest daughter, the engagement was broken due to some reasons and she got married to Chennai based businessman. He was also not getting many offers from Telugu film industry then he shifted to Kollywood industry and acted in all time great director K. Balachander, the movie TOLLYWOOD F I L M

was released in Telugu with title Abadham. But the movie was not success at the box office though he got good name for the movie. During his 13 years of film career he has acted in 20 movies among them only 19 films were released and his last movie Dil Kabbadi is yet to be released. In the year 2012, he got married to his childhood friend Vasistha but unfortunately the failure in his career, lack of confidence and not getting support from his well wishers, financial problems has made his wife to join job. All the problems made him to commit suicide on 5th January at his residence in Srinagar Colony in Hyderabad. It is so unfortunate that no friend or family came forward 40

to take the body after completion of post-mortam. The police have to take the body to NIMS hospital mortuary for one day the body was laying in Mortuary. With these we can estimate how unfortunate Uday Kiran who committed suicide unable to face the problems and went into depression. The police have investigated into the death of Uday Kiran but several reports were came out however ultimately the police has proved that it was suicide. It is a big lesson for the upcoming artists that up and down in the film industry is common whoever faces the problems with confidence is a winner. By committing suicide nothing is going to achieve it is nothing but weakness of a person. We wish his soul rest in peace. FEBRUARY 2014
