ecently Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has announced that he is going to tie the knot with Samantha in October. Now Gorgeous diva Samantha has also informed the media that she will take wedding break and will not do any work from September to October. She has already wrapped up the shoot of her part from the upcoming horror comedy movie ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’ in which Nagarjuna is essaying the role of mentalist and Samantha as ghost. Currently she is romancing with Ram Charan in #RC11 under the direction of Sukumar and will be next seen in upcoming movie ‘Mahanati’ , based on the biopic of Legendary actress Savithri. She has also couple of Tamil movies in her bag. If any case the actress is not able to wrap up the shoot of her projects before September, she will complete these projects post wedding. On the other-side, she has also clarified that after the marriage, she will continue doing movies.

It is heard that Sai Dharam is very impressed with the story line and has given nod. The sources say, “The upcoming film is a love story laced with humour and action. The basic theme of the movie is that love always wins if the lovers are ready to do anything for their love". The official confirmation is awaited regarding this

On the otherside, currently Sai Dharam Tej is busy in the shoot of ‘Jawaan’, directed by BVS Ravi in which Mehreen Kaur Phirzada is playing the female lead role. S Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali: The conclusion’ which has broken every box office record and stood at the first place at the Indian box office, does not impress the director Anil Sharma. Currently Anil Sharma is making a movie ‘Genius’ for his son Utkarsh, which would also be Utkarsh’s debut as hero. At the grand mahurat ceremony of his son’s movie, he spoke about Baahubali to the media. In 2001, he directed ‘Gadar:Ek Prem Katha’ starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. During the media interaction Anil said, his movie Gadar earned Rs 265 Cr in 2001 which today would be Rs 5,000 Cr. On the other-side, Baahubali has collected Rs 1500 Cr till date. So how has Baahubali 2 broken any records? He added, “It is just a matter of time. There was a time when Gadar was released and done the business of Rs 265 cr which as per today’s calculation is Rs 5,000 Cr and the ticket rates were Rs 25 only. Baahubali has just reached some Rs 1,500 Cr, so no record has been broken.” He further said, if the content of the movie is good, record would be broken and as far as Baahubali:The Conclusion is concerned, it has not yet set any record.

If Rajini takes political plunge, it would be game changer in Tamil Nadu. According to latest report, Rajinikanth is planning to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Recently the actor has wrapped up his five day interaction with his fans in Chennai where he spoke about the need to change the rotten system an asserted his Tamil identity. Film Industry has been inexorably linked to politics in Tamil Nadu. In past MGR and Jayalaithaa had dominated the state politics. Similarity AP politics has been also linked to celluloid glamour. He said, “Baahubali is not the first movie that was made on the big scale but it was the first movie that worked so well. Earlier Sekhar Kapoor wanted to make Paani but the things did not materialize. Kochadaiyaan could have been a huge blockbuster, but the animation and CG went wrong. So it is not like Baahubali was the first one, there were many attempts in Indian film Industry but they were failed attempts. The Baahubali team was very lucky and they also worked hard for it." Clad in a simple salwar-kameez, she was spotted along with her mother Prafula Shetty and brother Gunaranjan Shetty. After prayers and rituals, she was honoured by the temple administration. Temple priest, Muttappa Rai, temple chief N Yogeshwar, and member Krishnamurthy were present during her visit. fter the successful venture of Sankalp Reddy’s Ghazi, Tollywood macho star Rana Daggubati is set to act in another periodic film based on the real life incident. According to the latest report, Rana has been approached to play the lead role in the upcoming movie based on Rajiv Gandhi assassination and he will be seen playing CBI chief DR Karthikeyan who lead the special investigation team that probed into the killing of Rajiv Gandhi. The big budget drama will be helmed by Kannada Film maker AMR Ramesh. Recently Rana and Victory Venkatesh met former CBI Chief in a five star hotel as a part of research on the role. It is not yet clear whether Venkatesh is the part of this venture or not. Let’s wait for official confirmation. Actor Ravi Kale will play the crucial role in this political saga. t is known that Megastar Chiranjeevi will be next seen in the biopic of a great freedom fighter 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy' who fought the British even before the 1857 revolt known as Indian Rebellion of 1857. It is going to be a big budget movie and will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Recently during an media interaction, Megastar spoke about this upcoming project. He said, 'Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy' will be made with good technical values involving high end visual effects. Huge sets are being erected for the shoot. He also clarified that a team of writers are working on the script and the movie will be released next summer. Rajeevan who has worked for several hit movies like Nenokkadine and Manam, is the production designer. Ravi Varman who has worked for Tamil and Hindi movies like 'Dasavatharam', 'Barfi' and 'Ram Leela', is on the board to handle the Camera work. Chiru expressed the confidence that the story has a potential to strike a chord with pan Indian audiences that is the main reason they are planning to make it in other languages ( Tamil and Hindi). The movie will be directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan. The name of few Bollywood actresses are being considered to play the female lead role but no one is yet finalized. The makers are planning to launch the movie in August.

Now according to the latest update, the project is on and will go on the floor when Charan wraps up the shoot of his ongoing project #RC11 under the direction of Sukumar. It is heard that recently Mani Ratnam met Charan and gave a narration of the script. Dhruva star is very happy with the narration and the title Yodha is being considered for this upcoming project. Dhruva Villain Aravind Swamy will also share the screen space with Ram Charan in this bilingual Tamil-Telugu movie. The film’s shoot is likely to start from August. On the other side, Aravind Swamy has also a lot of projects in the pipeline but he will make time for this film considering his close association with Mani Ratnam. fter receiving lot of applause for his portrayal of Bhallaladeva in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali 2, Tollywood hot chunk Rana Daggubati is set to play the role of Bheema in the upcoming Kannada movie ‘Kurukshetra’. According to the latest update, director Naganna and film producer & MLA Munirathna are in the process of selecting the cast and crew for their upcoming Kannada project, which has been titled Kurukshetra. The makers have already finalized Kannada actor Darshan for the role of Duryodhana and they want to rope Rana to play mighty Bheema in the ambitious Kannada film. The talk has been initiated. Munirathna said, “We are currently in talks with Rana. Kurukshetra will have huge star cast and will be heavy on the VFX. We are already in the discussion with a couple of international special effects studios.” Writer JK Bharavi has penned the script for this drama and it is inspired from rich Kannada literature, including Gadayuddha, written by the greatest Kannada poets Ranna. The movie will be officially launched on 23rd July in Bengaluru and the makers are targeting to release it in January 2018.

ational award winning director Krish who lunched recently his Bollywood film ‘Manikarnika:The Queen of Jhansi’ starring Kangana Ranaut, has landed in a legal tangle now. Director Keten Mehta has sent a legal notice to Queen star for 'hijacking' one of his most ambitious film project, Rani of Jhansi: The Warrior Queen. The sources close to Ketan Mehta has said that he had spent around ten years researching for this historic project. During the media interaction Ketan said, ‘ It is regarding my project called Rani of Jhansi: The Warrior Queen. In 2015, I approached Kangana for this biopic and she gave her nod. I shared all the research material and several drafts of
the script with Kangana and she was actively participating. But I never thought that she would hijack my project and rope another director to helm this drama.” Queen actress Kangana is yet to respond to the legal notice. We will have to wait and watch what Krish has to say about it and if this film will really happen.

rabhas starrer Baahubali 2 has breached the Rs 1,500 Cr Worldwide gross milestone at the end of its three week theatrical run. After delivering Baahubali:The Beginning and Baahubali:The Conclusion, Prabhas has become popular globally. Though the young rebel star worked with Jakkanna and many more star directors in the past, never he was seen like this before. He will be next seen in Run Raja Run fame Sujeeth’s directorial venture Saaho which will be made on the budget of Rs 150 Cr and will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. According to the latest update, a leading Bollywood production house is said to have approached UV Creations and offered Rs 350+ Cr to bag the theatrical rights of Saaho for Indian market. If the deal gets finalized, the producers of Saaho will be getting Rs 200 profits on Indian theatrical rights alone and they would also get huge money from overseas territories. UV Creation is yet to accept the proposal, sources say.

ccording to the latest update, actor Rao Ramesh has been walked out from Ram Charan’s upcoming untitled movie #RC11, being helmed by Sukumar. The reason behind it is the differences between director Sukumar and actor Rao Ramesh. Finally the makers have brought versatile actor Prakash Raj on the board and he is going to essay the role of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s father in this venture, based on rural backdrop. The sources say that Rao Ramesh was not happy with the attitude of Sukumar. When Sukumar asked Rao Ramesh for the better emotion for one particular scene, the actor lost his control and walked away from the set. Later the makers approached Prakash Raj to play Rao Ramesh’s role and he immediately gave nod. Sukumar and Prakash Raj are very close together and shares good rapport. So the actor became ready to adjust his call sheet. Now the team is planning to re-shoot the scenes which was earlier shot on Rao Ramesh. he entire shoot of upcoming action entertainer drama ‘PSV Garuda Vega 126.18M’ starring Rajasekhar has been wrapped up and the post production work is going on in full swing. It is directed by Guntur Talkies fame Praveen Sattaru, produced by M Koteswara Raju on Jyostar Enterprises and presented by Shivani Shivathmika Movies. The makers have started the promotional activities, they have released a character poster and revealed something interesting about Kishor’s character who is playing George. He is evil personified in this stylist entertainer. Devious, deceptive and deadly,
George is physically imperfect, but mentally sharp. A perfect kill machine with no empathy, an avaricious predator and, finally, the ultimate, unapologetic villain. Earlier Kishor has acted in 'Kabali' and 'Cheekati Rajyam' but his character in Garuda Vega will be on a par with that of greatest on-screen villains like Mr. India's Mogambo (Amresh Puri) and Sholay's Gabbar Singh (Amzad Khan).
