MISSION STATEMENT

The Geist Half Marathon Inc. is an Indiana non-profit corporation 501(c)(3) organized to inspire health & wellness in the children surrounding Geist Reservoir in Indianapolis.

In early 2007, a group of Geist residents gathered to create what has become the community event, celebrating health and wellness in the greater Geist community. To date, more than $360,000 has been raised and given back to Geist-area schools, predominantly Lawrence Township and Hamilton Southeastern schools.

Sponsors and partners will be given free table space at this one-day expo featuring vendors, health screenings, school/mentor workshops, training sessions and featured speakers throughout the day.

Special event for sponsors, board members, school adminstrators, Fishers city officials and St.Vincent Fishers Hospital medical volunteers. Food and drinks are provided in a business casual after hours (6-8 p.m.) format. Sponsors are recognized and thanked by the sitting GHM board president.

ADMIRALS SPONSORS $2,500

Several opportunities allow local businesses to get the maximum exposure the months and days leading up to race day, including: PACE CAR SPONSOR - Your company provides the car to lead the race, we provide the crowd! Car has a temporary wrap applied and is driven to several schools and pre-race events for display. Up to 4 vehicles are allowed at the start/finish line area for viewing during and after the race.

RESULTS TENT - Your logo is on the electronic results tent and in the emails sent after the race.

MONTH OF MAY MARATHON CLUB - Ideal for a local running store, this sponsorship puts you as the exclusive sponsor of our most elite club! Over 300 runners who have run another half marathon in the month of May prior to the GHM “join the club” by completing our half marathon and enjoying a VIP area complete with beverages, food and music.

For sponsors only, not sold ala carte With 8 years of 90% or better approval rating, the opt-in email list for the Geist Half Marathon is one of the most read digital newsletters in the Indianapolis running community. From November 2015 through race day on May 21, 2016, a total of 16 email newsletters will be sent out to more than 18,000 past participants. The newsletter will highlight Geist news, training tips, course updates, sponsor announcements and seasonal discounts.

We are now offering a digital race bag which will be emailed to every participant a few days prior to the race. Participants visit the Virtual Race BagÂŽ and save or redeem offers of interest. A few days after the event, participants will also receive a reminder email with a link to their goody bag. Participants have only 10 days to redeem the offers before the Virtual Race Bag is closed. Note: Featured placements reserved for Admirals, Captains and Title Sponsors.
