Welcome and thank you for visiting the City of Tipton. My name is Tom Dolezal and I have the privilege of serving as the Mayor of this wonderful city. The spirit of our community is rooted in the hard-working traditions of our early agricultural and business minded founders. The results of a strong work ethic and firm faith in God continue to bless Tipton with an amazing quality of life. From our friendly people to our successful small businesses, to our industry leading corporations and topnotch school system, we offer residents and visitors alike, the conveniences of big city living with a heartfelt small-town atmosphere.
The City of Tipton continues to add amenities and services to make it an even more attractive option to families of all sizes. The recent additions of land to the City of Tipton have us on a course for the expansion of future
housing opportunities. While the growth of our Northgate Business Park also positions the community for adding jobs and families as entrepreneurs chose to move their companies out of the more congested Indianapolis area. The downtown plaza revitalization, municipal trail system and disc golf course continue to move forward to further improve the outdoor recreation and healthy-living activities that are growing in the Tipton community. Our local school system is in the process of completing a major investment to advance our learning campus and facilities in preparation for future growth. There are so many great things happening in Tipton that are a testament to the power of cooperation and teamwork!
