Birmingham’s Bullring has been demolished and reborn as a dazzling new centre integrating a vast array of shops, cafes, restaurants and piazzas, including one of only four Selfridges department stores in Britain. The Bullring’s spectacular architecture has created a new city landmark.
Land Securities’ relationship with Canterbury goes back more than 50 years. The concept for the Whitefriars development grew in partnership with the city council and, now complete, it has been hailed by English Heritage as best practice for urban regeneration in an historic environment.

We began implementing energy management schemes in 1981, long before ‘green issues’ had entered mainstream corporate vocabulary. In 2001 we were the first company in our sector to issue a stand-alone environmental report.
We currently have retail developments on site across the UK with an estimated worth of £1.1 billion. But that’s just a number. The marks of our capability are better evidenced by the location of those developments.
The key to a successful development is to get the thinking absolutely right from the very beginning.
We want our retail customers to prosper. As such, our goal with every development is to create a platform for retail success.
