Adding a Standard (Exchange) account in Outlook 2010: If you are adding an Exchange account to an existing Outlook profile start at step 12, 13 and 14, then do steps 1-11. If this is the first account to be added in a new Outlook Profile follow steps 1-11: 1. Start Outlook 2010… 2. Click “Next”…
3. Click “Manually configure server settings or additional server types” then click “Next”…
4. Select the “Internet E-mail” option then click “Next”…
5. Fill in the Your Name, E-mail Address, User Name and Password fields with your account information and use the Account Type and Incoming and Outgoing mail server information shown below. Make sure the Remember password checkbox is checked then click “More Settings”…
6. In the Internet E-mail Settings popup click the “Outgoing Server” tab, check the “My outgoing server (SMTP)…” checkbox, then click the “Advanced” tab…
7. Change both Incoming and Outgoing encryption types to “TLS”, then change the outgoing server port to 587, then click “OK”…
8. Click “Next”…
9. After the test completes successfully click “Next”…
10.Click “Finish”…
11.Click “Close”…
