Toneelgroep Amsterdam is one of the most innovative, exciting and ground-breaking theatrical ensembles in the world. Under Ivo van Hove’s visionary leadership, our ensemble of actors stage powerful, unforgettable, signature productions in Dutch to audiences in Amsterdam and across the globe. Internationally celebrated, we perform on renowned stages in Paris, New York, London, Adelaide, St. Petersburg, São Paulo, Seoul, Avignon, Montreal, Tokyo and Sydney. Our repertoire is incubated and developed in our home base: the Amsterdam Stadsschouwburg. In addition, we develop the next generation of artists with our talent programme TA-2, and we offer unique theatre experiences for young people through an extensive and integrated educational programme. None of this would be possible without the support of private contributions. In order to realise our ambitions, we need your help. Every contribution – big and small – makes a difference and directly impacts on our ability to continue to create extraordinary theatre experiences for Dutch and international audiences. We are a non-profit company and are acknowledged by the ANBI as a Dutch public benefit organisation and registered charity. There are three possible ways to support Toneelgroep Amsterdam: from donating € 1.000,– per year up to making a targeted contribution as a private producer, which involves you in the complete process of a production, from the choice of repertoire up to the premiere. Each level of contribution is designed to offer deeper insight into our work, making you an inseparable part of the TA family. We hope that you will join us.

ta-mecenas The ensemble model, and our extraordinary actors, are at the heart of everything we do. The support of Toneelgroep Amsterdam’s mecenas enables us to sustain our commitment to the ensemble and allows you to engage more with our actors and the process of making theatre. Starting from € 1.000,– per year (or € 85,– per month) you become a TA-mecenas. You can also opt to become TA-mecenas in a pair, starting from € 1.750,– per year (or € 147,– per month).

ta-companion In the life and work of TA, donations from our TA-companions are of vital importance, ensuring we can sustain our innovative approach, high production values and great theatrical experiences night after night in Amsterdam and across the world. Each year director Ivo van Hove chooses a production or project where TA-companions will, as a group of likeminded individuals, experience a specially designed programme of activity connected to the project. Starting from € 5.000,– per year (or € 420,– per month) you become a TA-companion. As thanks for your contribution you will receive: • two complimentary tickets to all TA premieres in the Amsterdam Stadsschouwburg • a personal account of the season by Ivo van Hove during an annual event, in the presence of the actors • invitations to all mecenas events plus an exclusive programme crafted for companions covering one production or project each season • the possibility to travel with the company on one of our international production tours, and to experience the premiere* • you will receive a mention by name in the season brochure’s introduction by Ivo van Hove, and on the TA website • a behind-the-scenes news letter • our season brochure delivered to your home • priority treatment with TA ticket sales in the Amsterdam Stadsschouwburg (*) Additional direct costs will be charged.

TA-PRIVATE PRODUCER

ta-private producer TA-private producers are a very special group of major donors who enable the creation of new productions each season. As a TA-private producer you will be supporting one specific production of your own choice. This is the most direct way to be a part of the ambitious repertoire with which Toneelgroep Amsterdam distinguishes itself nationally and internationally, and from which we experience world-wide fame. For € 10.000,– per year you are a TA-private producer, and you will be co-financier of a new production. • you will receive a personal account of the next season by our director, Ivo van Hove, from which you can confirm the production of your choice • you will converse with the director of the chosen production personally, before the start of rehearsals • you will receive an invitation to the internal scenography presentation and two closed rehearsals • you will receive four complimentary tickets to the premiere and ten complimentary tickets during the period of time that your production is running • you will receive a mention in the production credits • you will receive a framed photograph taken during rehearsals by TA’s own photographer Jan Versweyveld • you will be invited to a special backstage dinner • you will receive a mention by name in the season brochure’s introduction by Ivo van Hove, and on the TA website • you will receive a behind-the-scenes news letter • our season brochure delivered to your home • and priority treatment with TA ticket sales in the Amsterdam Stadsschouwburg

Since 2012 it has become even more tempting to support TA, thanks to the ‘Geefwet’. This rule allows that donations made to cultural ANBI companies can be deducted from income tax for 125% of your gift to a maximum of donations of € 5.000,– per year. If you donate more than € 5.000,–, the remaining figure can be deducted from income tax for 100%. In addition, there are tax benefits when you donate regularly in the form of a fixed amount over at least five years. A regular gift to TA is fully deductible from income tax. The advantages of the ‘Geefwet’ are applicable for all Dutch tax-payers (private and companies). We are happy to provide you with more information. We are also able to receive gifts from other jurisdictions on a tax-effective basis.
