Preview of In-Frame HERITAGE Collection The In-Frame Heritage Collection will be available as rigid cabinets only on 8 weeks minimum lead time. The product is still in the development stage and is scheduled for a summer launch. The range consists of Natural Oak Melamine Faced cabinets with a choice of 6 finishes: Sanded oak, Natural oak, Ivory, Light Grey, Sage and Light Blue. The Shaker style doors are situated within a frame that is fixed to the cabinet. The door is independently hinged on to the carcase with adjustable concealed hinges to provide exact alignment within the frame. The cabinet frame, drawer fronts and the frame of the door are manufactured using solid European oak. The centre panel of the doors is veneered oak. Blum Tandem drawers are used throughout the Heritage In-Frame Collection. Integrated appliances have a fixed door & frame that is 3mm smaller in height and width of the appliance space and open as a conventional lay on door. The plinth under an Integrated Dishwasher will need to be routered to allow the door to open fully. Curved plinths must be placed approximately in position before cabinets are secured as the overhang of the base unit frames will prevent the plinth being installed. Alternatively the plinth can be reduced in height in order that it fits under the bottom of the frames. Curved cornice is produced from laminated wood which is suitable for the painted finishes but is unsuitable for the Natural oak finish. Therefore the curved cornice is not available in Natural oak. Curved pelmet is also produced from laminated wood which is veneered in oak and is therefore available in all finishes.

Mantel Construction The Mantel is constructed by placing a 300mm wide wall unit either side of the hob area. 738mm high units are suitable for electric appliance but 918mm high wall units must be used when a gas hob is fitted. The over mantel is constructed by cutting a 2400 x 650mm T & G panel into several pieces of the required height and fixing them to a 18mm Natural oak MFC panel which has the raw edge covered by a section of pelmet once the mantel is secured in place. The Mantel shelf and shelf supports should be fixed before the over mantel is installed. The inside and outside of the wall units are clad in T & G board which is cut to size on site.

Corner Solution 1120mm x 1120mm should be allowed for a balanced In-Frame corner solution. One 1120mm measurement can be reduced by installing smaller units than the 500mm wide units featured in the diagram to the left.
